Wolf I got a modded VistaCG theme with a difrent shellstyle.dll and it also some screensavers and mplayer11/Vista LClocks with SegoeUI fonts that will go great with the HighSpinns cursors.

You can also go here and get a Vista RC2 Watermark for the desktop http://www.joejoe.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=1527&st=0
There on the second page.

Hey,

I would really like to use this add-on but the download link is dead.

If you removed this add-on from your server please re-add it.

Thanks.

laze.

Rick, you can upload smaller files (up to 2 MB) here on Wincert, attach it in the post, so we can avoid situations like this one..

Thx

Hey,

If I remove the following from LSPatch.inf:

[Patch.AddShortcut]
Name	  =LS Patch
CmdLine   =16422,"%PATCH_DIR%",LSPatch_1.1.exe
SubDir	=Utilities
WorkingDir=16422,"%PATCH_DIR%"
InfoTip =Hide or Restore Logoff/Shutdown text ~ by Windows X

[Strings]
PATCH_DIR="Utilities\LS Patch"

Will that mean no start-menu entry is created?

Also, how would I go about re-packing the cab with my modified LSPatch.inf?

Does LSPatch apply itself automatically or will I need to run it everytime I log on? What about newly created users, if it is automated, will it work for them too?

laze.

Hey Rick,

The buttons shown in the screenshot above, is it possible to add those to any theme?

I'm currently using this theme and the standard buttons without the text look a bit silly.

laze.

It will not remove the text automatically just by integrating it... It integrates a Program. You have to remove it yourself by going to the Shortcut to the app in Utilities and execute the patcher.

I installed the patch and now my computer refuses to boot up. It takes me to the logon screen, lets me log on, shows me the wallpaper and then freezes...no desktop icons, no system tray, no start menu...nothing. I dont know how to restore the explorer.exe file since it's not letting me start up at all. Any help is appreciated.

I had the same issue earlier this year :( (no-English computer "FR") ...I know it's a little late for "dontpanic" but I post the answer anyway, because it could be useful for other users...

launch the Task Manager, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete simultaneously on your keyboard
click on "file".. and click "new task"
now browse to the LS patch and launch it again
drag the window because it probably hide the pop-up message
in this pop-up message (..bla bla.. the text in ..bla bla..) just click "yes"

now you should be back to normal !
