OK heres the beef:

I fixed and tested the inf error.

Cannot reproduce your iso error BUT can see where it may be happening. Try this one and if not I have a newer version with a couple of changes.

@Kelsenellenelvian
thank you, I have tested this 3 times, seems to be OK and flawless.
If you don't mind you can PM the other version for testing.
A nice day

Thanks for updating
I try it to overwrite it on ver 15.4 through .inf installation method. It ask for makeiso.cmd which is now not required as there is standalone ISOCreator.exe. Perhaps I need new windows setup.
regards

Is there any chance getting a version of this pack that installs correctly on a running system. I receive an .inf error when trying to do so. I should mention the Control Panel Pack installed fine.

yes, download Kel's UberPacK v15.6.2 on the first page, unrar and install from the inf file (caution:- uninstall previous version if any)

Umm that's what I did and got the inf error from. I thought I made that clear. BTW, XP Pro SP3. Thanks in advance.

Do me a favor?

Change line 16 of uberpack.inf to this:

11,,rundll32.exe,,,"advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %1%\Uberpack.inf,Install"

Re-run an install and tell me if it works. (I dun have the time to set up a VM right now)

Hes installing it on Vista/7 (why not use the win7 uberpack instead?)

BTW kel you could use a copyfiles flag (32) to skip same/higher version files to not prompt

Value Meaning
1 On CopyFiles: Warn if user tries to skip file.
1 On DelFiles: If file is in use, queue up delayed delete in wininit.ini. Otherwise an in-use file
will not be deleted.
2 Setup Critical: don't allow user to skip file.
4 Ignore version check and always copy file. This will overwrite a newer file.
8 Force Rename (trick engine into thinking that file is in use). Note: Only happens if file
already exists on target.
16 If file already exists on target, don't copy.
32 Suppress version conflict dialog and don't overwrite newer files.

Hey rick?

Will you pick through the top of my inf and "Suggest" modification(s) to make it work for the yahoos that insist on using it this way?

Wait where would I put that flag?

In the copyfiles secion

[CopyFiles.Section]
FinalName.ext,DiskName.ext,TempName.tmp,Flag

This is what it would look like for wiaaut.dll

[CopyFiles.Section]
WhyReboot.exe,Whyrebt.exe,,32
wiaaut.dll,,,32

Hey rick?

Will you pick through the top of my inf and "Suggest" modification(s) to make it work for the yahoos that insist on using it this way?

Edit: BTW it looks fine, just doing those two changes should do the trick (you already copy the inf, that would have been another suggestion)
