my use addons

OnePiece_Windows_XP_Post-SP3_UpdatePack_v2.6.4_ENU.7z
OnePiece_Windows_Media_Player_11_True_AddOn_v1.6.1_ENU.7z
OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v1.1.4322.2407_True_AddOn_ENU.cab
CODYQX4_XP_to_TPC05_en.7z

where i did wrong :S

You have a bad addon combo.

The OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v1.1.4322.2407_True_AddOn_ENU.cab is now included in the OP update pack.

You don't have the Onepiece .NET 1.0 addon That is available on the 1st page of this topic. (This addon is worthless without as TPC needs .NET 1.0 and it has to be installed a special way)

WMP11 is included in OP update pack but you have added it 2 times.

Also, the Tablet PC MUI requires that you already have XP MUI pack installed, which is supposed to be for VL customers only.

Read this download carefully.

I'd trash your source cd, start from scratch with OP update pack 2.7.1, or newer if something new is out. Do not add OnePiece_Windows_Media_Player_11_True_AddOn_v1.6.1_ENU.7z or OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v1.1.4322.2407_True_AddOn_ENU.cab.

With OP pack, then add .NET 1.0 and CODYQX4 TPC addon. Use MF links as they are newer that WinCert Links.

With just OP pack, TPC addon, and .NET 1.0 true addon on 1st page of this topic, test if all goes well in a VM (I have done it countless times)

If you have XP MUI pack, install at at 1st logon, then you should be able to try Tablet PC MUI.

You cannot install Tablet PC MUI without XP MUI. XP MUI is for SP2, so if using SP3, immediately get SP3 update for XP MUI.

You can't just install the Tablet PC MUI, you also need XP MUI Pack Turkish, which is not freely available. It's for people who are VL customers and subscriptions, so I don't have it and can't upload it.

Even if you do get the XP MUI pack, you need an update first for SP3, and even after that, I cannot guarantee that Tablet PC MUI will install, but you are so much Tablet PC that I can't imagine it not working.

Simply put, No Turkish XP MUI pack means no Tablet PC MUI pack.

If you have the XP Turkish pack, and get Tablet PC MUI to work let me know if it works as It's something I never got to test.

I know someone who has MUI pack, I'm going to test them when I get it.

My addon does "Transform" to TPC.

After installing the proper Turkisk MUI Pack, the Tablet PC MUI does let me install it.

I think either you are not installing XP MUI pack at all or installing wrong type of MUI pack.

hi CODYQX4! i just like to report that all links do not work (mediafire links show this: Invalid File. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team. The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.; wincert links show this: (OpenDNS) You tried to visit www.hr-host.com, which is not loading.); i'd like to ask too, would this work if i have both [AddOn] Media Center 2005 (English) Oct 3 2009 & [AddOn] Windows 7 Media Center 1.0 (English)? thanks!

It will work fine, and I'll fix the MF links, but I'm gonna get rid of the screenshots as I don't have them and am too busy and lazy to make new ones.

I can't do anything about WinCert links, but they were out of date anyway.

edit: screenshots still there, they didn't show up earlier...

I'll have to look into it when I'm not busy. I'm not sure if Tablet PC or .NET needs updated, looks like .NET.

I'll post here whenever I get to putting that update into .NET.

Does not need that update if you use MSI installer only INF .NET 1.0

could it have something to do with this:

This addon requires .NET Framework 1.0 SP3, and it requires a special process, basically using a "True .NET 1.0 SP3 Addon". A real MCE or Tablet PC disk will install it, but I went through hell with forcing .NET 1.0 SP3 to install on a normal XP disk.

Fortunately, Onepiece was kind enough to make a modded inf to make it work, he then left the resulting .NET 1.0 SP3 addon to me.
Ricks MCE will still require .NET framework 1.1.

just a little confusion --- [Addon]Tablet PC 2005 SP3 Edition[English] pack requires .NET 1.0 SP3 right & rick's need .NET 1.1. if i didn't have Onepiece's work, this wouldn't install correctly or not at all, right? however, i had it integrated too (via nLite .NET Framework 1.0 SP3 Addon By OnePiece was placed before [Addon]Tablet PC 2005 SP3 Edition[English] & then followed by rick's [AddOn] Media Center 2005 (English) Oct 3 2009 & [AddOn] Windows 7 Media Center 1.0 (English) ... i likewise had strel's Silent .NET Maker synthesized 20091127 - W2K/XP/2K3 x86, Custom .NET+hotfixes+langpacks UA installers/nLite-RVMI add-ons & my add/remove programs shows complete .NET framework installation (1.0 (& KB953295 - after installing it via WU), 2.0 & SP, 3.0 & SP & 3.5 & SP. WU prompted for the update so i brought this up to your's & rick's attention. cheers!

That should work, the reason you need INF .NET 1.0, is because for some unknown reason, if you use a silent .NET 1.0 at T13, it messes up the installation of other .NET at T13. A silent .NET 1.0 would break that custom .NET addon you're using, unless you run it at RunOnceEX. Not installing .NET 1.0 makes some TabletPC things not work.

Running the .NET 1.0 addon at RunOnceEX is a little messy for the purposes of the TabletPC addon.

To update, I would have to integrate just my TabletPC addon and .NET 1.0 (On clean source), install that update while checking for changes (InCTRL 5 works), and add the modified files and reg entries into .NET addon, test, and if all is well, its added. I got college midterms approaching so I can't do it quite yet. I'll probably use it as an excuse to slack off sometime soon and update it. :D

good luck on your exams CODYQX4. :) looking forward to the update of this wonderful pack (that goes along well with rick's mces. good thing, i have all 3 installed successfully. for now, i'll finalize my build, reinstall my os & just bear with what WU prompts me. i'll just check on this every now & then. cheers!

btw, strel's piece works at t-13 & doesn't contain .net 1.0 ... so onepiece's work should get in there successfully too (right?)

Is this true even if you install 1.0 after the rest of the frameworks (as SNMsynth installers do with 1.1)?
