1) First launch setup.exe and accept to install Microsoft Net Framework 4 (x86 y x64)
with GDism.NET ELDI.

When the installation is complete you can change the language. To open a new time the program launch:

GDism .NET ELDI.application

If you have errors, browse to Add/Remove programs and remove:

1 - Paquete de idioma de Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Extented ESN
2 - Paquete de idioma de Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile ESN

Install the progam a new time!

All is fine for me!

2) With Portable GDism ELDI:

Right clic on DismGUI_ELDI.jar and select: Open with Java(TM ) Platform SE binary

Using Version NET 4.0 or Java ?
Of course, it's needed to select first the install.wim path and create a temp folder to mount/unmount the image!
Have you read the dism.log to see errors ?

I have tried with both the versions and getting the same result.
My DISM version is 6.1.7600.16385

I wish to mention that I am using WAIK for Vista, is this the reason of getting that error?

And about the error in the log, it only says "Failed to access the image folder or image's windows folder."

You can remove AIK for Vista!
Or install WAIK for Windows 7 (if you want)!

Dism.exe inside "C:\Windows\System32\Dism.exe"; will be used if you don't have installed WAIK.

Using in Java take care to close the current window folder and keep only the window GDism ELDI so the image will be properly unmounted!

If needed, you can remove the key using this reg file for images not correctly unmounted:

Clean-Images.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

; Remove all images not correctly mounted and/or unmounted

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WIMMount\Mounted Images]

First you need to create a temporary temp folder to mount/unmount the image and select each time the correct paths!

Have you mounted successfully first the wim image ?

Sorry mate, it was my mistake. I was trying to get the packages without mounting the image so only I was getting that error. This is the first time I am using DISM, till .now I was capturing install.wim to integrate drivers, updates, etc. I hope you won't laugh at me, lol.

Anyways thanks for your help. I need to ask few more things which I can't or should I say don't want to ask publicly so if you permit can I pm you?

Works here. Example with my French Windows 7 OS.

Have you installed ?
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile FRA Language Pack
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extented
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extented FRA Language Pack

@heldigard
Many thanks for the new release! :dancing:
Can we add more translated lines for French language?
Could we have the new file for the translation?
Regards
