spacekowboy
Hi, on my Win XP machine logged into the domain (Win2K8 R2 Server) I'm trying to connect to a network printer. when I browse to the printer and double-click, I get the following message:"You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer"Any help would be apprecieated. Thanks
NIM
Check this setting in local security policy: Click Start, point to Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Local Security Policy.Double-click Local Policies.Double-click Security Options. In the right pane, double-click Prevent users from installing printer drivers.Check if the setting is set to Disabled.Close the Local Security Settings window. If this setting is Enabled, then you won't be able to install printer drivers if you don't have Administrative permissions. NIM
Well, then forget it, you need admin permissions to install printer driver if this setting is enabled.
