Folks , after years of using everyone else's efforts at customizing windows, i have finally decided to give it a whack.
Now, i know there are lots of useful posts in here or so it seems.
It would also be a true statement to say i could probably waste a lot of time with trial and error in the learning process.

Is there a good walk you thru it tutorial that takes an absolute novice thru a build, or, does the win7 toolkit do that intuitively just by its user interface?

I have been a few places where newcomers were not recieved very well , but this forum does not seem to be one of them.

I have read quite a few posts in here and gotten some understanding, but as always , a "do this, then do that" is useful in getting your feet moving forward.

All in all , i am tickled to have found this forum and hope it continues thru into windows 8!
