Is there a way to add a 2nd reboot after the SFX installer finishes and reboots the 1st time? I can see in the setup log and in MSU that I have pending updates that require a reboot so in other words I need 2 reboots and not 1. I would also love to call some additional scripts and installers after that 2nd reboot.

The only time WinKit reboots if it detects that another program wanted to reboot the computer in the first place, can't go into full details as it would break the forum rules.

Were talking about two entirely different things here and now you have me confused

The only time WinKit reboots if it detects that another program wanted to reboot the computer in the first place, can't go into full details as it would break the forum rules.

I've explained further in the PM you sent me, Win Toolkit will only reboot if it detects a certain program/script being ran after Windows installation. For me to mention the name of that program/script would break forum rule #1

I understand that Win Toolkit has specific circumstances that will cause an automatic reboot. But isn't there a way for the user to add some kind of command or script or xml entry or something that will force a reboot when executed? Would that satisfy the OP's needs?

Cheers and Regards

in the silent installer section to add shutdown.exe to the list with /s /t 0 switch, you need to put it at the end though because the RunOnce won't run after the reboot, blame Windows for that.

Well, yeah. It is RunOnce after all. :)

Reason: Too complicated.
