As LiveSide.Net notes, Microsoft hasn’t provided a new date by which it plans to disable the Outlook Express Distributed Authoring and Versioning (DAV) protocol that allows the Hotmail inbox access from Outlook Express. The Windows Live Hotmail Support Team posted the following update on May 5:
Microsoft has been pushing users to move to the Windows Live Mail e-mail client in order to manage multiple e-mail inboxes.
