Sometime ago I was asked on how to reset IIS6 settings because one user messed the things up with Frontpage Server Extensions. Changing security settings resulted in all content from intranet displayed incorrectly, like gifs being out of line and with wrong font sizes.
Trying to reinstall IIS6 from Add/Remove Programs haven't reset its settings.
Solution:
To reinstall IIS6 properly and remove settings, you have probably missed one step to delete the Inetpub directory.
First uninstall IIS6 using Add/Remove Programs
Delete the Inetpub and \\winnt\system32\intsrv folders
Now you can safely install IIS6 again.

Let me help you with one of special issues I had with a Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
We used the server for file and print services with a lot of shared folders on the server. We were also using external drives for a temp backup solution. There was a share on the external drive which was used for a backup.

When installing Windows Home Server, you might experience the following issues:
After copying installation files, it reboots and I got the dreaded 0x0000007B error. The subsequent error code indicates that it is a 0xc0000034 - This status code translates to STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND. This is the most common status code and is usually caused by a missing or corrupt driver.

To get the x86 drivers to work with the x64 Windows 2008 Server you will have to connect to the server from the 32-bit (x86) client and open the printer and faxes share. From the File Menu select Server Properties, then from the Driver Tab add the x86 drivers that you downloaded, and they will then be uploaded to the server.
