The company plans to add auto-complete for text prompts in Copilot, similar to the features in Gmail for composing emails and texting on smartphones. Additionally, users will be able to rewrite text prompts they’ve already entered in Copilot to make them more effective with the AI chatbot.

Microsoft has also revealed that team leaders in Microsoft 365 will be able to create, publish, and manage custom prompts in Copilot Lab tailored to their teams’ needs.

In the future, Copilot could be used to ask users questions to enhance productivity at work directly.

The company shared findings from its fourth annual Work Trend Index, which surveyed 31,000 workers worldwide. It found that 75% of knowledge workers are using AI tools, while 55% of company leaders are concerned about filling open roles this year. Employees are focusing on improving their AI skills to increase their chances of getting hired.
