A few days ago we have published an article about another bug that’s been bothering Windows 10 users who installed the latest security update KB5000802.

The bug was actually causing BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) with the APC_INDEX_MISMATCH code when trying to print a document. It only affected systems with Type 3 printer drivers. Today, Microsoft has released an out-of-band update that addresses the printing bug available for computers with Windows 10 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, 2004 and 20H2 versions.

To install the latest update that fixes the above-mentioned bug go to Windows Update and click Check for updates.

Once the optional quality update appears click Download and install.

Please have in mind that Microsoft recommends installing optional out-of-band updates only if your system is affected by the bug. If you did not experience blue screen issues, you can safely skip installation of this update.
