<p>As the report says, a user with a pirated version of Office 2019 has received a banner in the Excell app under the Office ribbon. The banner mentioned that the user can save up to 50% if he decides to purchase the genuine Microsoft 365 subscription with included &#8220;Learn More&#8221; link that links <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoft-365/buy/get-genuine-b?ocid=prod_unlicensed_cons_fuel_acq_getgenuine50_buy&;rtc=1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HERE</a>.</p>
<p>On the linked page a user could find the information about the risks of using the pirated software along with the 50% discount for the genuine software purchase. We were not able to verify the discount, but according to ghacks.net, the discount is valid and you register or sign in with your Microsoft account to see if you are eligible for the discount.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s rather interesting that Microsoft is offering a discount for the could version of Office, rather than the desktop version that is being pirated.</p>
