Microsoft introduced the calendar board view in OWA or Outlook Web Access back in 2021 as part of its time management features. This feature aimed to enhance the calendar experience by providing users with improved organization and meeting management capabilities.

However, this feature is now approaching its end. Microsoft has recently announced its plans to discontinue support for the calendar board view this month, which means that users will no longer be able to access their boards. Instead, users will be automatically redirected to a compatible calendar view.

The company has provided some important details regarding this change:

The calendar board view in Outlook for Web offered a more advanced experience compared to the primary display and features available in the supported calendar view. It included a customizable visual planner that allowed users to display multiple calendars, facilitating efficient planning simultaneously.

It’s worth saying that the calendar board view incorporated clocks for different time zones and tasks from the Microsoft To-Do app. Users were able to create multiple boards and rearrange them according to their preferences. Unfortunately, these capabilities will no longer be available from the next month. Additionally, Microsoft noted that the calendar board view is also not accessible to GCC/GCCH/DOD Microsoft 365 customers.
