Microsoft postponed the planned release of Windows 10 v1803

<p>Microsoft has postponed the release of the latest major Windows 10 v1803 version due to a recently discovered bug&period; The latest version&comma; known as v1803 &lpar;Spring Creators Update&rpar; was planned to be released to the public on April 10 along with April&&num;8217&semi;s Patch Tuesday&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;07&sol;windows-10-upgrade&period;png"><img class&equals;"alignnone wp-image-1906 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;07&sol;windows-10-upgrade&period;png" alt&equals;"Windows 10 v1803" width&equals;"1024" height&equals;"512" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It appears that Windows Insiders managed to find a bug in the &&num;8220&semi;last minute&&num;8221&semi; before this major Windows version has reached general availability&period; Because of the huge internal testing criteria&comma; Microsoft has decided that this bug is a &&num;8220&semi;showstopper&&num;8221&semi; and thus have prolonged the release date&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It is still unknown when this update will be released&period; It should become available in the next couple of weeks&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Along with the new update&comma; Microsoft has formally ended the support for Windows 10 version 1607&comma; also known as the Anniversary Update for Home and Pro users&period; Version 1607 reached the end of service on April 10&comma; 2018&period; This means that devices running Windows 10 Home or Pro editions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats&period; In order to continue receiving security updates and stay protected&comma; Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10 OS&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Windows 10 Education editions will continue to receive updates until October 9&comma; 2018&comma; while long-term servicing channels will continue to receive updates until October 2026&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
