<p>Microsofts&#8217; PowerToys is a set of useful utilities that include File Explorer Add-ons, FancyZones, ColoPicker, Keyboard Manager, Mouse Utilities, Power Renamer, etc. All of these utilities can be helpful in the customization and personalization of the Windows experience.</p>

<p>Microsoft has just released an updated version 0.64.0 of its PowerToys app. The latest update now brings some new utilities including Host File Editor and File Locksmith.</p>
<p>Host File Editor allows you to edit your hosts&#8217; files in Editor UI, while the File Locksmith allows you to see which processes are used by selected files.</p>
<p>Among many new features and bug fixes, the new PowerToys come with a feature that allows you to back up or restores settings from a file.</p>

<p>If you already have the app installed, you can update it easily by navigating to Settings &#8211;>; General tab, scrolling down, and in the Updates section clicking &#8220;Check for updates&#8221;.</p>
