Microsoft Teams to get a new chat feature in Outlook

<p>Microsoft Outlook users will soon get a more collaborative experience with the latest update for Microsoft Teams&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-1540" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;07&sol;outlookweb&period;png" alt&equals;"outlook" width&equals;"800" height&equals;"440" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A new feature of <em>Outlook meetings<&sol;em> should bring Teams chat into Outlook client which will enable a meeting-style experience within the Outlook app&comma; giving an option for participants to quickly send messages&comma; without the need to open up Microsoft Teams separately or switch between the applications&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s yet to be seen how this feature will actually work&comma; but according to available information&comma; it appears as if it will be just an expansion of the Teams functions in Outlook&period; Users that have Teams add-in enabled in outlook will be able to quickly message their contacts&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The <em>outlook meetings<&sol;em> feature is still under development and the general availability is scheduled for March 2023&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>With this approach&comma; Microsoft is trying to connect Microsoft Teams and Outlook together in order to simplify its communication tools&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The company has also recently announced a new feature that will allow users to run apps built for Teams in Microsoft Outlook&period; This integration should also bring a more seamless online collaboration experience as users won&&num;8217&semi;t need to constantly switch between apps&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
