Microsoft to release a true Dark Mode for Office apps

Microsoft is about to release a true dark mode for its Word app on Windows. The company has already introduced the dark mode for Windows and its Office apps but apart from One Note and Outlook, none could completely turn off lights.

A Twitter user Florian B just posted a picture of a new beta Word version with a completely dark theme. As you can see from the picture below, the previously white page has now been replaced with the dark page while the ribbon boxes still remain white.

This new dark theme is currently available only in the beta channel and we still yet to see Excel and Powerpoint apps fully turn black. These changes should receive the production channel within the next month.
