Microsoft unveils a new logo for its Chromium Edge browser

<p>Microsoft has just unveiled a new logo for its new Chromium-based browser Edge&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-3373" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2019&sol;11&sol;chromium&lowbar;edge&lowbar;new&lowbar;logo&period;png" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"640" height&equals;"451" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Even though the new Edge is still in beta&comma; Microsoft confirmed that it&&num;8217&semi;s close to being finished and will replace the existing version of the Edge browser&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As you might already know&comma; the new and fully improved Edge has been built from scratch on the same Chromium foundation as Google Chrome&period; The new Edge logo wasn&&num;8217&semi;t unveiled in a conventional way&comma; it was hidden behind a series of puzzles and clues posted online by Microsoft employees&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Once puzzles were completed&comma; a short online surfing game appeared which well reminds of a SkiFree&comma; a classic skiing game that was released as part of Microsoft&&num;8217&semi;s Entertainment Pack 3 for Windows back in 1991&period; After finishing the surfing game a new stylish-looking icon was revealed&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The new logo perfectly fits with the company&&num;8217&semi;s refreshed Office icons&period; It contains green and blue colors and reminds of a wave while still showing the letter &&num;8220&semi;E&&num;8221&semi; which could mean &&num;8220&semi;surfing with Edge&&num;8221&semi; &colon;&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We can safely assume that Microsoft could officially announce its new browser at the Ignite conference in Orlando scheduled for the next week as stable release recently <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wincert&period;net&sol;cast&sol;chromium-based-edge-browser-nears-launch-as-download-link-goes-live&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">leaked online<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
