Windows 10 on ARM in action

Windows 10 v1809

Microsoft has recently shown a demo of Windows 10 in action on ARM. Video has been presented by Microsoft employees Hari Pulapaka and Arun Kishan in which they have demonstrated different aspects of Windows 10 on ARM.

This demo shows that you will be able to run the same applications you’re used to on your Windows 10 PCs without performance issues. It is especially interesting to see the possibility of running standard x86 applications on ARM, and not just Universal Windows Platform (UWP) applications.

In other words, you will get a full desktop experience of Windows 10 running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. According to Qualcomm, we can expect to see the first Windows 10 ARM PCs later this year.
