I see this forum doesn't have much activity but i'm hoping someone will see this and have a solution to my problem.  I'm retiring my Win7 machine and slowly moving/installing my software on a new Win10 machine.  My issue is that my Office setup disk will not work.  I click on setup (as administrator), Windows asks if I want to make changes to my system and after I click allow, nothing happens.  I've opened up task manager but the setup file isn't running.  I've tried disabling Windows Defender, Antivirus and Firewall but no success.   I've scoured the net and it seems that my issue is somewhat unique, at least I couldn't find someone with the same problem.  

At first I thought there was an issue with my install disk so I downloaded a setup file, same issue so its not my original disk.  I believe Win10 is preventing it but I can't figure how or why.  Any solutions out there?

My problem is, I purchased office 6 or 7y ago and now when I need it I am unable to redeem / tie it to my ms account. MS says that because it is very old and they do not sell 2013 anymore they will not help me to fix this so it looks that I lost my 450€ license. I got idea that if I would be able to activate with via phone then problem solved. Unfortunately with your great tool I was able to download office 2013 Prof sk-sk which is not possible to activate via phone. Do you know if and where I could find & download Office 2013 Prof sk-sk or cs-cz older version which would be possible to activate via phone? Or if possibly find hidden exe which would be office phone activation wizard? to activate my installed Office 2013 Prof sk-sk via phone?

can any one help me to get a new download working office 2010 ... 

Does anyone know if it is safe to download the Office 2007 installer from archiv.org?  There is a vast database of useful software there.

I did manage to download an .exe but my antivirus flagged it as containing a 'generic trojan'.  Now the AV is very watchful (as it should be) but it often flags up stuff that is perfectly fine.

Are .exe's etc on archiv.org scanned; are they likely to be clean?  If not, where else might I try?  Thank you.

Certaines fonctionnalités (macros & VBA) EXCEL, WORD et PROJECT ne sont plus accessibles et il est impossible de faire fonctionner les fichiers avec macros existantes.

Suivi le protocole suggéré par Microsoft de nettoyage des versions antérieures à partir de l'application de nettoyage téléchargeable en ligne (o15-ctrremove). Par la suite, installation de la Version 1812 Build 11126.20266 de Office 2019 ProPlus qui n'est jamais arrivée pleinement à terme. Tentative de réparation rapide sans succès et de réparation en ligne qui a failli au même endroit, dans la barre de progression de l'installation.

Les applications Office fonctionnent tous, mais il manque certaines fonctionnalités normalement disponible dans les compléments et les différentes librairies de Office.

Je suis à la recherche depuis plusieurs heures de la possibilité de téléchargement des librairies Office (La totale) et je fais face à un puit sans fond... 

J'implore votre aide 😉 tout en continuant de creuser...

Few words to begin:

Of Course: You can also doing it with any other language as you want, the result are same full bilingual suites. 

Just replace the language pack and the service pack for that language pack with the one of your preferred language.

In this tutorial all sources used for x64, just replace the source x64 with that one for x86.

Its recommend to use different folders for x64 and x86, but you can also merging it, - just carefully  

 

Of course: You can use other tools and methods for doing this jobs, but i recommend this guide.

It exist different tools and all, but is better you know what you do by step-by-step at do-it-yourself.

Just give attention you create retail-suites, so you will need to enter key at begin of install.

Step #1 Preparing:

1. Download

WinToolKit and access Alphawaves-Downloader (under update-tab) to get all office updates offline.
2. Download from web-sources all these files for create a FULL Suite with all components:

Step #2 Upgrading

1. Extract all these files in the listed order into a office work folder with windows command:
Use: Start > Run.. > "Path to *.exe" /extract:"Path to extract folder"
Example: "C:\Office\X16-32213.exe" /extract:"C:\Office\2010\"
(Override all older files, and use different folders for 2010 and 2013)

2. For the Updates: Use WinToolKit > Tools > MSP Extractor:
- Choose on filters "English (United States)" and "German (Germany)".
- Add all office updates and lets extract to another folder.
(Dismark the field "Extraction to subfolders")

3, Move all extracted updates into updates folder in the office work folder.
- Delete all other files as .msp in updates folder.
(Override all older files, and use different folders for 2010 and 2013)

Step 3# Finishing:

1. Now you can make a bootable ISO from office work folder: Use WinToolKit: Basic > ISO Maker:

- Add all folder and files and choose a ISO-Output folder, create ISO.
 
Now its done and you have a full updated complete office suite disk!

2016:

Greetings

a friend of mine had his PC crash (bad virus) and i pulled his data off his hard drive for him and then restored it. All was good except for his outlook profile. Which isn't just outlook.pst

the files he has are outlook.pst outlook_part2.pst, Outlook_part3.pst, and outlook_part4.pst

However none of them outlook sees as .pst files. it just says "(filepath)\outlook.pst is not a Personal folders file" regardless of which one i used.

he says he never split the files. So what exactly happened? Is all his outlook data gone?

Can anybody help for customize the setup.xml for just few things ?:

1. EULA-Stuff already accepted

2. Setup start in matched system language

3. I can install in all languages i can choose (eng and ger)

(Means the setup start in English, but i can also choose only German language install)

I have SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2010w_SP1_W32_English_CORE_MLF_X.iso and i want to Integrate Updates.

I think in normal case we go to Updates folder of Office and copie the updates .MSP files to inside it ( folder UPDATE in OFFICE 10)

I use the Win toolki to download the updates, but the files are not .MSP files.

The program download all files as .exe and put in 3 different folders:

General

Hotfix

Security

--> Option A (use it only if you got Office2007 thru SoftwareAssurance, which comes with activation stripped out).

--> Option B is for all the others (retail/OEM/academic/trial/etc). Both are colored differently below.

Option A:

1. Ensure you have an actual enterprise/corporate disc & product-key.

2. Notably, o2k7 uses setup patches (*.MSP) rather than transforms which previous versions used (*.MST). The below instructions will give you an MSP file, which is not accepted by non-corporate versions of o2k7. If you ignored point1 above, then you will end up wasting 15 minutes of your life which I'm not responsible for.

3. Now at the command prompt, type: setup.exe /admin

4. Choose the product for which you want to make a customization-patch.

5. Then go through all steps in the customization wizard (to install the reqd apps & remove junk & change default settings).

6. Be sure to have "completion notice" turned on & "suppress modals" turned off (this is to get to see errors, if any exist). Once you're done with testing, go thru the customization again to modify the MSP to disable completion notice & enable suppress modals.

7. Save the resulting patch file in the same folder as o2k7 setup files.

8. Now just execute this command (thru any method) for silent install: setup.exe /adminfile CUSTOM.MSP

Or if you have the Office 2007 Enterprise VLK, you could even drop the CUSTOM.MSP file in the "Updates" folder & setup will pick it up automatically (without any switches being used). For this, ensure you have WindowsInstaller 3.1 already installed.

*** For completely silent install, you MUST set the DisplayLevel to "none", either by MSP (accessible from step 6 above) or by xml, otherwise you'll get a confirmation dialog similar to the image shown in attachment below. (do this only AFTER testing, when you're sure it works)

Option B:

1. Go to the folder-path, "Office2007\Pro.WW" (or any ??????.WW folder for other editions such as standard/enterprise/etc)

2. Modify "config.xml", or copy it to somewhere else & modify it, using my posted code below as a sample.

3. If you modified it "in location", then setup will take up the changes automatically.

4. Otherwise, place the modified file in the same folder of setup.exe, as custom-uA.XML

5. This is the command to run setup with the customizations specified in custom-uA.XML: setup.exe /config custom-uA.XML

7. This method is also a great way to make changes to the defaults itself, so that you dont need to keep changing it upon every new time you install it. The sample XML here, makes setup fully silent, cuts down features rarely used by me, and reduces install footprint of Office 2007 Professional from 721 MB, to 303 MB (of course you can always add/remove components later); I've also removed lines that I found useless from it, you might like to keep many of the default lines & customize them. Also, be aware that the XML offers a way to chain updates & install them before or after o2k7 setup, but then you'll lose control over reboot parameters. By default, o2k7 setup wont cause an auto-reboot, so no need of "/noreboot" or "Reboot=ReallySuppress" properties. I intend this XML to be used for clean installs, with no previous version settings or profiles to be migrated. Use "start /wait" for silent installs. This file is for the main suite, you can modify it accordingly for the other component products, the options are commented with double-slashes. I obtained the OptionIds from setup.xml files, in each component folder.

Here's a tested/working config.xml file, to get you started with Option B:

The procedure is same for all other editions of Office 2007. The above is just a working sample, you'd need to put in an appropriate key & modify as per your needs.

If you downloaded a single SETUP.EXE (500-MB?) from MSDN, then you might need to extract it to some folder, to get the installation source.

I've inherited Office 10 standard and Visio 10. Is it possible to merge these two discs into one and only run off the one installer?

First question is, Does the disc already inldue both x64 and x86 or is it two seperate discs?

What I am trying to do is create a Microsoft Office 2010 Professional SP 1 w/Updates. Basically a disc that I can install x64 or x86 (1 for both or 1 each) that will already include all the office updates.

So basically I was wondering where I could get the office 2010 updates, and how to slipsteam them onto the disc(s).
