Hi. I done a custom windows using sysprep. On the screen where you enter your name I pressed Ctrl+Shift+F3. When my system rebooted I installed all the updates, Flash Player ect, I didn't install any apps. I've captured the image. When I came to try it out I found that I am having problems with my ports, I install my bit-torrent 'Vuze' but it can't connect to the internet. Anyone have any ideas please? Thank you Worf

Hi, I have built a program which copies your current user settings and data, reinstalls your machine, copies your user data back, installs several up to date software packages which you can select on before hand, and automatically installs all available microsoft updates. Youre welcome to use it. Download it from https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hxlgelvhw8a6s7c/Tta6hhGLzX The only thing you need is a folder with your windows files on a partition or an external hardisks root. Optional is the tool ketarin (http://ketarin.org) and setup packages for your software. It is currently translated in English and Dutch

  5. I am new to using the autounattend file so be patient with me After being successful with the autounattend on Win7 I recently wanted to run a batch file at the first logon to automate some things so I added the FirstLogonCommands section. I added it to the: <settings pass="oobeSystem"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="AMD64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="NonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">section and the: <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyTok…

  8. Hi All, Have a minor issue with my autounattend.xml file in as far as I don't get to see the Install Windows 7 Now screen with the repair option towards the bottom left corner. All I do get is which disk to install it to. I even disable that when running a test in VBox. I didn't realise until the other day when I could have done with doing a repair install that I didn't have that option (got round it by renaming the autounattend file on my usb). Could someone pass an eye over my autounattend file and tell me which 'string' I need to disable? B.T.W. the autounattend file has been validated with WSIM, just hope someone can help save me some time by not having to do a …

  10. Hi Experts, I got a problem with the new Socket1150, 8th Chipset Family; The USB ports (2.0 and 3.0), the USB Header and also ATX iO Shield ain't functional when Windows is started. Win7 was installed from a WDS Server: I tried to fix the problem with an adding of new Drivers in WDS 'Driver Group 1 Folder' I added and tested Drivers: Renesas µPD720200 & µPD720200A Newest Native Driver by Intel xHCI (8 Series/C220 Chipset Family) ... but none was functional. I have already thought about not taking the USB Drivers into the 'Driver Group 1 Folder' on WDS, but implementing in Win7 Image (*.wim). Has somebody already tried that out? Thanks ahead…

  12. Other day when trying out my unattended install in vBox I had a prompt asking me if I wanted to turn sticky keys on or off. I thought nothing (much) of it as maybe I had tapped /something rested on the shift key. However, its just happened again. This time I went through the motions of disabling this but it's slightly perplexing as to why this has only recently started happening. Maybe I've gone a step too far with what I'm removing/tweaking with WinToolKit or maybe something in my autounattend file that's not jumping out at me. Can someone cast a fresh eye over these in case I'm missing the obvious? First, the ini file from WinToolKit. Only thing missing from this …

  13. First; let me express my gratitude for this great application (Win Toolkit)! I have "always" used RT Se7en Lite / RT7 Lite in the past, but I always had problems with it. Win Toolkit looks and works so much better (as far as I have tested it so far). Secondly; I do have a quick question and though I did use the forum's search function though I couldn't find an answer on my question. I have created an image with all updates and necessary applications (which I needed), removed several things and tweaked it a bit more. Since I don't use (or have) a DVD drive anymore, I will need to use the "USB Boot Preparation"-function from the "Intermediate" menu, so it will make the U…

I have added some printer drivers to my Windows 7 Pro Image, but when I try to install any of the printers I included the drivers on my PC it won't be automatically detect the printer model, also the drivers are not even listed on the manufacturers' printer list. Hi all, I have being playing around with the WinToolkit for a while. With a new Windows 7-SP1 installation a made with an ISO I customized using WinToolkit, I am not able to access any computer on my LAN by using: \\computername or \\COMPUTER-IP. So far everything else seems to be working properly. What part of my settings might be causing this issue? Attached: Session.ini and Screenshot. Thanks. 2013-07-04_19-14-11_2013-07-04_19-14-11.ini

  17. Sorry if this is not the right thread/forum. I've been trying to create a succesful image for a few days now... and I haven't ben able to. I was using an older program last week called RT7, which hasn't been kept up with very well... Anyways I decided to get WinToolKit a go. I used it to download a fresh SP1 X64 English disc, along with all of the updates I need to make imaging faster. I've burnt a few discs and used USBs thinking maybe that was the problem but it seems to be something else. I get an error or message about the end of the windows 7 installtion. Hello guys just a fast question. I was just wondering what in your opinion is better method of updating the windows 7 install iso. Using the sysprep(installing windows, updating it etc, then making an image) or integrating the updates offline using lets say WinTolkit? Mainly i ask this because i wanna know if there will be any difference in the final result in terms of speed, size and quality of the Windows installation iso. Till now i was always using the sysprep method as it seems easyer to do(I install FrameWork, Visual C runtimes etc). But I'm wondering if I integrate the updates offline will i get better performance of my install? Thanks.
