Fired up Win 7 Toolkit today, got an popup that new version is available, clicked yes...and got this: (Multiple times...as long as tried...) Updating manually now EDIT: After downloading (latest .71) manually from mediafire, all works...as it should... (Of course, it is latest..and doesnt want to update himself...)

I just noticed that starting with version 66 when you changed the antivirus warning message box, on exit looks like this on every newer version. It does not happen in versions before 66. Here is where I reported about the new/modified worning message to disable antivirus. http://www.wincert.n...__20#entry89245

  4. Live Essentials did not silently install correctly. When I tried to manually install it, windows showed this error: Do I need to adjust the order of installs, or change my switches, so i can avoid the necessity to restart again? here is my current silent install:

I couldn't resist making a comment to the author to check out your tool http://www.howtogeek.com/124368/how-to-create-a-customized-windows-7-installation-disc-with-integrated-updates/#comment-192704

  6. I just downloaded the latest Win x64 Home Professional & SP1. Also downloaded all the updates from McRip (As of today Sep 13, 2012). When I perform an integration, approximately 20 of the updates do NOT integrate. You can see the failures in this picture: Spidernz reported the same problem in this post. I wonder if the problem is related to an inconsistency in the # of files downloaded? After completing the update downloads, I had 468 files: But WinToolkit reports I actually downloaded 473 files: Where did the other 5 files go?

  7. Started by Thiersee,

My problem has not directly to do with WinToolkit, may be someone can give me a hint. I have extracted msp-files for Office 2010, but I don't know exactly, what to do ... I should copy all the msp-files into the folder Updates on the Installation-DVD, but: with or without all the folder MSP-extractor has generated? (have a look here, last post). TNX, Thiersee

  8. Started by Edvardas Po,

I got error during install: "Windows could not apply unattend settings during pass [offlineServicing]. " What's the problem? It's possible to remove Unattend from image if applyed by "Full" method?

  9. Started by Thiersee,

I tried to convert some Office 2010 exe-updates, but I got NO .MSP-files! The Tool generates in the target-Folder only a folder "OfficeUpdates" and in this folder again a folder for every office-update with the name of that update; no .msp-file in it. Regards, Thiersee I forgot: WinToolkit v70.

  10. Started by Mike2Able,

Need to change banner inside MSP Extractor to read: EXE to MSP Extractor. It currently looks backwards.

  11. Started by Thiersee,

Starting older versions, until v68, the hint to a new version comes: "there is a new version 1.4.0.69" Starting v69,version is "actual". Regards, Thiersee

  12. The only issue I have is figuring how to do this correctly cause I spent about 4 days creating images that were faulty due to the fact the CD DVD drivers are missing this may be related to my own stupidity of selecting the integrate drivers into boot.wim option IDK or selecting enable x64 recovery I don't understand why a perfectly good image would be faulty espicially with all of those drivers integrated from the driver pack there should be no reason to have a missing cd/dvd driver to install windows every friggin driver possible was loaded to this ISO. Could anybody tell me what the underlying issue is here I really do not want to waste another 4 days integrating stuff …

  13. Started by Simpuhl,

So windows 7 already comes with .Net 3.5 built in.. so we need updates as soon as it installs... Is there anyway to implement these updates into the customizes ISO? Also .NET Framework 4.5 doesn't require any updates... and its better than 4.0 and you can actually uninstall 4.0 Direct Link: http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/a/4/ba4a7e71-2906-4b2d-a0e1-80cf16844f5f/dotnetfx45_full_x86_x64.exe Basically I want to silent install 4.5 and somehow add the 3.5 updates so that when I do a fresh install I literally have 0 updates.. I also am curious about the 40 option language pack updates.. how can I impliment all those just so it doesn't show up in the list? or is there …

  14. Hello World, This is my first post here and hopefully it doesn't violate any rules. I have removed bundled software from a program and repacked it back into an installer format I don't care to say which program in case I cannot make this happen it will fill the request of a user though so we will call it setup.exe for now. The tool I am currently using is winrar. So I rightclick on setup.exe and select add to archive I check create SFX archive I set compression as best I click the advanced tab I click sfx options Under the general tab now I enter the following: so for path to extract I type C:\temp so for run after extraction I type C:\temp\setup.exe /VERYSILENT now under…

  16. So yesterday I created a full customized disc using AIO-I, I tested it out, works perfectly but I left an addon out. Now when I open All-In-One Integrator it automatically opens my same folder and presets... My question is if I just add the one addon to it will it have to go through the 3 hour process again or does it just add that one thing? or Should I uncheck all the presets and just add the 1 program? or start fresh? Thanks in advance

Before I start a bunch of tests today I am wondering if v65 integrate updates, addons and drivers properly?

  19. Maybe such a thread is needed, as it will help wincert members not to start a new thread each time they've found a bug / issue in the W7T app. I'll start with a very small description issue of the system tweak Don't allow windows to turn off devices - This makes sure that windows does not turn off devices to save enable - the last word should be power. Done.

  21. Introduction The goal of this document is to collect instructions for performing unattended / silent installations of many popular application installers. Such instructions are useful for automating these installations. A quick word on terminology: Strictly speaking, an unattended installation is one which does not require user interaction, and a silent (or quiet) installation is one which does not display any indication of its progress. However, most people use these terms interchangeably. Here, we are interested not only in performing unattended installations, but also in waiting for those installations to finish and suppressing any reboot they might want to perform. Th…

  22. Hey, I'm new here, just love Win Toolkit the fact that it is up to date. Awesome work. I basically use Rt7lite to remove the components I don't want. Then I use Rt7 booster to make it even smaller and I use WinToolkit to integrates updates, drivers and to tweak my image. However there is something I don't understand about the integration of updates in a new image. The Update Catalog offers almost 500updates and I don't really know which one to integrate. Indeed I understood I don't need to use the ones from Additionnal if I don't plan to use the feature, but I am confused with the rest as I removed many functionalities with the Rt7 softs. So my idea was to run my Rt7 boos…

I just created my first addon, but it's a hassle to integrate and install windows just to test it. Is there a quicker way to go about this?

  24. It might be my own fault, not being a big expert, but I've been using Win Toolkit before and this never happened before: I tried to make a fresh USB installer with McRip's updates integrated. (extracted dvd image and Win Toolkit on D: partition) Running and creating Win7 Ultimate x64. After completing I realised I forgot to add a driver, and ran it again (never did that before, and maybe i did something wrong there) Used the resulting USB stick to clean-install another PC, but noticed after doing so no updates or settings were added. Ran Win Toolkit all over again, same result. Removed Win Toolkit and dvd image files, started clean all over, same result. Now I get pop ups…
