Forgive me for not having the up most of experience with RunOnce. Aside from that I do from time to time create a very up to date ISO and every so often get the latest technet tuesday patches and apply them to my ISO. What I am wanting to do is to get a script that will run ninite as soon as windows has finished installing Pretty much, I figure as long as I can get a batch file or vbscript to report the presence of an internet connection, and if one is available have it launch a ninite installer rather than integrate stuff such as flash through $OEM$\setupcomplete.cmd IMO such a method would be good because most of those components can be installed afterwards and be up to…

By default windows searches only for windows updates, if you want to have updates for other microsoft products you have to install microsoft update. How can I slipstream this option to my Windows 7 x64 Proffesional disk?

I want to have the games available in windows 7 Proffesional, how can I change the installation in order to have them available by default?

One issue I am having with the 1.3.0.98 Release - is in the WIM manager. If I select the WIM to edit, such as name or description...and type in the text as usual - it refuses to show the change(s) within the GUI - as if it just ignored the edit. I just went back to the 1.3.0.5 version being able to use this feature where it still works fine....until this particular issue can be addressed. Thanks for your time!

Hi Lego, I need your knowledge - if you are willing to share with me I heard WinKit is able to set custom theme for default profile. I am trying to do this manually and keep failing for past ~20 hours or so. Can you possibly tell me how does WinKit do it please? I have my own .theme file (basically just Aero with no wallpaper and no sounds, more or less) which I want to set active so the user doesn't need to change anything, it must be set on first boot. I install graphic drivers during setup too, specifically during setupcomplete.cmd phase. The main problem seems to be the inability to set active theme. Hello, I wanted to test the new WinToolKit 1.4.0 (currently v.15), for Windows 7 x64 sp1. I have selected : - updates : the last SoloR update pack - drivers : some from driverpacks.net (massstorage, chipset, lan, wlan) - tweaks I'm facing 2 problems at the moment : after more than 4h30 of updates/drivers integration (more than 300 upd. and 500 drv.), in Virtualbox's last version the "Setup Background" is not changed, and later a more severe problem, i always have a BSOD after the install. I used the update retriever to retriever the updates. It found 75 msu and 1 cab files (KB958488). I copied the cab file to a folder and started downloading all the 75 msu updates to the same folder. After sometime all 75 updates were downloaded and went green but when i checked the download folder, there were only 68 msu files even though the retriever shows all 75 msu's as green/downloaded. Can anybody explain this? Then when i integrated all the 68 msu + 1 cab, 5 msu's of internet explorer updates went red (failed to integrate). I've started converting all my updates, as they arrive from SoLoR into .cab files. This makes a small difference to my install media, and my hard drive. I save these to a single .cab folder for updating images, which I always load largest to smallest. Fools me into thinking WTK is getting faster . Trouble is SoLoR doesn't recognise the majority of .cab files when checking through for updating old updates. So I now use a cunning ruse. In my SoLoR folder is a load of "blank" .msu files it does recognise. Using Karens Directory Printer, I get a list of the files contained in the SoloR folder and sub-folders. The option to show the menu bar in IE9 doesn't seem to work for me. Even though added into my Autounattend file, still no show. By adding the following to a RunOnce .reg file it works every time. Hello, actually I have serious problems with the driver recognition. I am using a standard Windows 7 x64 SP1. I integerated the driver with W7K and but it is not recognized. When I try in the setup then to choose it manually, it is not accepted, no such hardware available. I had this problem before with another Windows 7 source and I could solve it by using a clean MSDN x64 SP1 one. Are there any options in W7K known that can cause this problem? Driving me insane making one image after the other :-/ Greetings

No error when I just test a iso. But when I choose to add or delete something I got errors. No errors when just use addon software but the software is not there when I install. Have no rights to change Globalization TA is the error with LP.

Hi, Legolash2o Can Winkit create optimized images for single or multi core processors like the ones in nLite? Is there be a need for this? Or does Windows 7 detect core processors and optimize system automatically?

im running windows 7 with service pack 1 and all windows updates intergrated in to the install.wim i downwloaded W7t Vs 1.4.0.? when i used it to add the tweaks to the .wim and did a fresh install i get half way threw the install and the system reboot's the completing installation screen appears as normal but after 2 seconds i get a blue screen error pop up and system reboots thus install has failed and im stuck in a reboot loop if i reformat the paration i was installing to i can still reinstall again so the hd is fine i ran W7t Vs 1.3.0.98 and it worked fine has any one else had this problem ?? is there's a bug in W7t Vs 1.4.0.? after tweaks been added ??? or did…

Not sure if this was a net framework error, I assumed it was with PS I'd just opened so shut the error message straight away (Doh!!). Just after the start of my 3rd image pass, I get the warning and when I looked at W7T again I had a big red cross across the bottom progress area. Will say it didn't affect the running of the tool, just didn't know how much longer it would take! At this moment in time the 3rd pass is still running. I'll send the error file when it finishes if I get one.

Are the tweaks in the Toolkit available seperately as a downloadable registry or text file somewhere? Since I use several PCs I'd like to apply them manually after the install to account for variations of users.

Is it possible to remove a wa once you've compiled the image? I've changed my mind, deleted from ISO but they still show up as "Select what to install" when running iso in VBox. I'd like to remove them from the W7T installer.

i have some sfx installers running mandatory and some optional using the tookit installer: from version 1.4, the tookit installer has optional software unticked by default (at least it does if you install any updates later on a subsequent update run after insalling the sfx/installers), where as the 1.3 versions had the tick boxes checked by default, even if you did a later run to add/update any windows updates. when i have a long list of apps to install, i have to tick every app in the list before hitting the start button, where as before the default was all ticked and all i had to do was to untick apps i didnt want installing and click the start button can this behavio…

Hi, when I try to integrate SoLoR updates, it skips them completely. First it successfuly integrates IE9 and Language pack (both green bar) and then it skips all updates and goes right to component removal, registry tweaks, services, and saves image. If I try to integrate them without IE9 and its language pack, it is fine.

Hello all, I created my own unattended DVD with the Windows 7 Toolkit. I created an ISO file and installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 in VMWare (by booting the ISO file). The whole installed went fine! After the succesvol installation in VMWare I used the Windows 7 Toolkit to copy the installation on my USB-stick. But, installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my laptop (via USB) the Silent Installs were not working. The screen which shows the progress on installing the silent installs didn't popup and my laptop booted directly to my desktop. In VMWare the above was working fine. How can I fix this?
