Hey @Mov AX, 0xDEAD I want to try my hand at debugging an A5 BSOD on Windows 8.0 that I get on my Threadripper system, although I'm a complete novice at doing this. I want to try and trace to find the exact cause of the A5 BSOD on my hardware. It happens even in the windows 8.0 PE environment. Can you show me how to get started on this? Windows 8.0 has native kdnet support at least so that should be easier to get started with I think.

I have been trying to download a file from Texas Instruments and keep getting this message "The publisher of this program could not be verified" when I try to open or save. Are there any? I've started to update to 8.1 installation now that you can get the W8 OEM key from the BIOS with a handy tool. However, when testing the image I've made, the old W8 keys I had do not work anymore. Again this is not for activation only temporary/trial install. Core and Pro since that's what customers at work use.

I'm relatively new to using softwares like WinToolkit for integrating updates into ISOs. I've used it a few times already and it has worked fine. I'm also exclusively using WHDownloader to download updates. But I have noticed that some people take different approaches to integration. Some will try to integrate every update every released for a particular version of Windows (Vista, 7, 8/8.1, etc.), even if they dont really need them all. And in the case of me using WTK to integrate updates into 7 awhile back, that amounted to hundreds of updates. Hi I'm creating a custom windows 8 iso and I was wondering if there is a way to change the boot screen without boot screen software, via a kind of manual install? What I'm basically wanting is when i install my custom iso the boot screen is already changed without doing it afterwards with the software.

Does anyone know and explain how to create an iso image using install.esd instead of install.wim? I have been searching for an update pack for Windows 8.1 but I just found two (I think) and they are only german. I installed one, the WinFuture one, but I just clicked blindly until it started to load and I just dont like this. I would like that it could be integrated on the DVD image too. Im searching for something like simplix.
