Site and Forum Issues

There seems to be a bug when following the "View New Content" link at the top right of the webpages. I get 54 pages of all content. The only good thing about this seems to be that on the first couple of pages are "highlighted" as if they were new posts, while there is still additional read posts that fill the rest of the pages.

Who is this guest dude? I see him posting allot lately My first question was a joke, but lately I have seen signed in people posting and it being labeled as Guest Could it be a bug?

If an link is put under an image, then when I left click that image, it opens the image & not the link. This happens in Chrome, IE8 & FF5. Also, in FF5 (my preferred browser) right-click also opens the image & not the link, though the other 2 will "Open in new tab" fine. example: the "Homepage" icon: cheers

Now; Should be; if you don't know about css. here is the key; in your public/style_css/prettify.css about line 30; find: #admin_bar { background:none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; color:#888888; font-size:0.9em; height:26px; padding:0 10px; } change it to: #admin_bar { background:none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; color:#888888; font-size:0.9em; height:50px; padding:0 10px; } as you see, just set height to 50px. when pathway is too long, it goes under your header and I can't click main category. cheers, Alper

Would you be missing flags from the topic view if we' remove it?

Is it just me or has the site been having problems over the last couple of weeks that every so often the site just "locks up"? When it happens, I can't go anywhere on the site, not even the home page. Sometimes it's fine in a few minutes, sometimes it seems to take as much as a couple of hours to recover. I have been having my own problems on my end so it COULD be totally me, but I seem to be able to go everywhere else on the net and it seems browser independent, so ... Anyone else been having sporadic problems? If it's a known issue I'll try to be patient. Cheers and Regards

OK, I can get signed in but for some reason (the last week or two)I have to click on the sign-in icon twice to get to the log-in screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi, i have a problem with viewing this forum. On some thread's a have a lot of empty space between two post's. The scrollbar on the right side is very very long. I'm using IE7 on Win XP. I also tried to view this thread with IE8 on Win7 x64 and i had no problems with viewing. But when i activated the compability-mode, i had the same issue. What can i do? greets testesser1

Don' know why but i am not able to use full editor option in my post, If i am clicking Edit Button it works but if i want to use full editor option it's not clicking and hence not able to modify the title of the post.

Tried to preform a search today and got this error message I was searching in the =1"]advanced search (after search flood control took me there) using the cc skin for " how to" when it happened

there is something unusual about it this has happened to me every time i've tried to comment on one of the front page articles for example this http://www.wincert.net/news/1566-windows-7s-64-bit-troubles.html i would type my comment but then after i submit it.. the little busy icon would just keep spinning and spinning. sometimes i'd wait several minutes, but nothing would change. so i would just close the tab, thinking my comment would not go through. then later i checked back and it actually DID go through

I have a request. I'm not sure if it's possible with this new forum software. I'd like to have an option in the user's profile to flag "Search results from *** language sections only". This would be helpful for those who are monolingual. IE. If a English user clicks "View new content" and is presented with a list of 20 results, more than half are going to be from the Italian/Turkish sections (but with English titles). There's no indication (sometimes) what international section those threads are coming from. Very confusing for some. Can we make that more visible? Or offer the option to filter out those results?
