On update Tuesday of this month I checked Windows Updates for my son's computer. He was offered 11 high priority updates for Windows XP. I checked for my computer, also running XP and was told there were no high priority updates. My question is why the difference? The computer where I work was also offered 11 high priority updates. __________________

Recently I have been trying to create an updated image and keep getting the error "Setup Cannot Format This Partition" after it starts setup. I get this on every PC I try even Virtual Machines. Does anyone know what could be causing the problem? I have tried building an image step by step, first tweaks, compile, then half addons, then compile and then rest of the addons and compile and this works. It just comes up with this error when I create the image in 1 whole step. Is there anything I could be doing wrong?

Just wondering if anyone is interested. there's still a few tweaks to be made before I release, but I put a lot of work in it. All of these clocks are 100% created by me, but i did get some inspiration from other clocks. Also, I'm a programmer not a graphic designer, so if you have any criticism please keep that in mind, lol. Anyway here is a screenshot of what I have so far. Edit: Changed picture to show new clocks Edit 2: Added download link XPStyleClocks.Gadget

I just created shortcuts to some games in the more programs section of media center. Since then I have changed all the icons to better quality ones, but media center still shows the old icons. I've tried deleting the shortcuts and adding them again but it still doesn't work. It's probably just some .db cache file i need to delete somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Palmtree

I really need to find this build to download. It did not install correctly and now the final build will not install. Nor can I uninstall it because those files are missing. I have searched the Internet and there are links to that build but they end up as the final build. Does anyone know of a link to the finding that build (3311).

Good afternoon, has taken into head as it is possible to execute carrying over of applications from one operating system in another. Since at a forum saw similar appendices, hope that will turn out to find the help in this point in question. Well or at least references, to the literature.

Hi All. Im hoping someone can share some insight on a file issue I noticed within my System32 folder that confuses me. :confused02: I am at a loss & would be so grateful for some information. I have browsed search engines looking for an answer for hours now & cant find ANYTHING about this...not even one thing; & so I very much hope to get some answers here. I've recently got a problem which i don't know what causes it. I need help! ... As you can see above, for some reason my service names are corrupted! Turkish characters are causing trouble with them. At first i though it was something related to fonts, but as you can see some of the services with Turkish characters are corrupt while the rest are OK! Then i thought maybe it's something due to service.msc file. I've tried replacing it with an untouched one but... Still the same. Then i tried listing the services from command line and saw they are the same there. It's like they're getting corrupted whilst they are being registered. But, this is not only services related. Af…
