I have a Dell Optliplex GX 260 that has two hard drives one 40GB and one 80GB. I was reinstalling XP and I accidentally deleted the partition on the 80GB, I installed XP on the primary 40GB but now Windows can't see the 80GB. Well I say it can't see it, I can't use it but it appears in the Device Manager. I thing I must have uninstalled it or something. The hard drive that no longer works properly is a Maxtor 6L080J4. Please help, this is my primary computer and I need to get it working as soon as possible. Thanks in advance. The computer is now running Windows XP Service Pack 3.

so since XP SP3 will be going final soon, i was wondering what the chances were of installing SP3 onto an existing installation and then somehow patching that with the V'ISO GUI. obviously this can be done to an install disk, but for the sake of not having to re-install windows, i was wondering if my suggestion is even possible.

Yes my mozilla eats over 900mb of my memory resources? I have no clue what is causing that. I use 2.0.0.13 version. I'm suspecting on some application/page that might be eating my memory while opening them. I fix my problem by restarting FF again. Did anyone have similar problems with it?

Hello all! I got a little problem. I have this desktop machine, and my CD/DVD drive is a USB one. I can see it and the harddisks in BIOS options, but when I try to boot into system, or try to boot from an XP CD (which I has tested on another computer, and it worked well) and I have tried with another older XP cd. Every time I try to boot from an XP CD it says that I should reboot my system and connect a right bootable device. When I try to boot from harddisk which already has XP installed on it, it says that some nddr thing is missing and that I shouls press CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot. I thought it was my motherboard because sometimes my computer was turning off, so I bought …

  11. Hi, I've been trying to troubleshoot an annoying problem I've been having for awhile now and I finally have it narrowed down. The DOTNETAIO addon is causing a problem after install where the processes won't start up in a timely manner. It takes 2-3 minutes for them to load. If I don't add the addon everything works fine except one of my other addons causes an install error from .net not being installed. Here is a list of my addons.... 19. does anyone know of a post-install method for removing the "network setup wizard" and "new connection wizard" from the network connections folder? i dont necessarily need the wizards themselves deleted, but since i never use them, it would be nice if there was a way to remove any shortcuts to them... ive tried nLite and the group policy editor...neither removes the shortcuts.

ok for starters this is about the inkball game from tablet edition fixed for xp. it works great and opens everytime it's clicked but does not show the cursor, but i found a fix. after opening the game and pressing alt on your keyboard the cursor shows. what i'm looking for is and alternitive .exe that will 1. open the game and 2. will auto apply the alt key. but i want the .exe to use the inkball icon. is there away of doing this? as i would want the new .exe to reside in the same folder with the game. thanks in advance, jimmy

I've seen that its possible to have a real Vista like interface (see below), and I won't to know how it is done. I heard it has something to do with uxtheme.dll file. Do you just paste your copy from vista over the top of xp's version. Or do you need another different file or programme. Please help!
