Hello, Can anyone give me some instructions regarding setup of windows xp logon proceedings so that the log-in password in no longer bypassable in any way. I need a way to lock it up so tight that if I were to forget the password, I would probably die of old age before it could be cracked. I need to get rid of this method going in and deleteing the user file to get past the log on . I need to make it so that no one can bypass my logon password encrption with a sort of tool like what one might find on Hiram's boot cd. OK, I know nothing about 64. What is the difference between 32 and 64. Is 64 better? I have googled a couple time but could not find really any information that I was looking for. Any info you have or links will help. I was thinking about trying/testing it but don't know anything about it. Thanks in advance for my stupidity.

i have sp2 windows xp home, after i reformat my comp from a virus. Problem:before it takes me to the logon screen it says i have 6 days left and says do you want windows to be activated i click yes and it says windows have been activated but the pop up keeps coming, any solution to why its doing it?

Hello, I am in search of some advice regarding modifications to my context menu. With my last install, I used Kel's "Uber Pack" addon which gave me a host of new context menu options in something labeled "power menu". It seems that the power menu is part of an app called MMM. I began to experiment with the MMM app and now I have lost the two most useful context menu addition, "copy to" and "move to". To be more clear, Kel's 'Uber Pack" created "copy to" and "send to" in the context menu when I right clicked any sort of file or folder. Hello, I am looking for some advice regarding software that would help me protect information I am going to make available on a work group/network for others to access, but not to be able to copy to a storage medium. Ok I'm having some strange problems in taskbar display but ONLY while browsing different drives so when using any other program like paint,mozila, notepad,etc taskbar display full name of application. After installing ACDSee I can't see my icons in the folder anymore because the got replaced with this crapy ACDSee image. Ok, my cousins computerhas a password but he forgot it. Now he can't log into his account. There is only one account so He can't do anything. Is there a way to reset the password or remove it without reinstalling the OS? He don't have an XP cd that's why. Anyone help please?
