    Hello, i have killed Windows Vista Explorer.exe process and extracted Windows MC...As i have all updates, Windows Media Center got latest build..This extract has got only 3 languages:English, Russian, Latvian..Well, i very like Windows Sidebar idea...Now lets try media center, but im not master, so i just attach you a .torrent file of extract..Now all in your hands!! :icon_cool:

    What exactly does this do?

    i'm not sure myself but i dug this up from msfn. ( i just copy n paste the file name into google)

    i think its the user logon screen?

    it also shows you have to edit the file.

    Ya, I found out that much too. I wonder if the pros like Orbit30 could shine some light on this and lead us in the correct direction on editing this file?

    Maybe you should download a few add-ons, unpack them and see how they supposed to be created. :type:

    I downloaded the 7z that Reaper upload very recently http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?sho...amp;#entry39942 and studied it, created my own, and it just successfully installed in VMWare.

    I think I have all of Reapers addons now :thumbsup_anim:

    Yes, that's the silent switch (command which doesn't allow the visibility of the program installation).

    Thanks Denny. I tried the 7z addon that I created and used this ini file but received a 7-zip failed load error during the windows installation of MCE in VMware.

    Back to the drawing board. :doh:

    Is there a need for /S after the Program.exe to make it Silent?

    There are INF addon maker software but dont think you have gotten to that point yet

    Just practice and get good at making your silent switch installers and manually package your addons

    BTW it does not have to be .cab it can be .7z, .rar and .zip also

    OH! and if you use the integrator you dont have to package them at all, just point the integrator to the silent .exe

    I'm curious, what's the INF addon maker software you speak of?

    You said in your PM that you made a silent switch installer using my video but did not know how to pack it for nLite, here is the general idea how to do this

    A program you can use to make silent switch addons is nlaom (here is my addon for this program you can integrate)

    Actually, I want to know if there are any other programs other than "nlaom" to create addons. Something a little more updated and user-friendly with newer switches and options built in. I have managed to create a couple of addons now like, IE8 and Everest Ultimate using the "Addon Maker". Afterwards I extract the "ini" file, edit it and then repack the .cab using WinAce.
