  1. So I mount the image via DISM or WTK, create a "drivers" folder in the sources folder, add my drivers (in a single folder or subfolders?) then unmount/save, create an ISO and do an install? Will that install the drivers?

    OR

Mount the image with WTK, create a "drivers" folder in the sources folder, add my drivers (in a single folder or subfolders?) then unmount/save, create an ISO and do an install... WTK created a RunOnce that recognizes the "drivers" folder and installs them as needed during an installation.

This drivers process is new to me so I apologize if the questions seem a little ignorant.

    EDIT:

I see BrokenZer0 made a post on this as well http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12409-driverpacks-integration/?p=110458I will try and research further.

Assuming you've mounted the image at least once. You just copy and paste the drivers into sources\\drivers folder. :)

  2. Lego you had mention previously that if I created a "drivers" folder in the root or" sources\\drivers" that the RunOnce would scan and install only whats needed but I am not quite sure how to actually create the RunOnce for this process. Do I use WTK to "integrate the drivers or is it another method. Any help would be appreciated.

  3. Unfortunately I think your 100% correct and I too ONLY use free or paid.

all for free and pro version.however pro version will attract pirates that cant afford if priced to high.happens a lot with free and pro version software especially.and before anyone asks I purchase everything legitametly.i think free version should contain the basics and the pro version the more advanced tools.

  4. I have been around for quite a few years working on "integration's" with the various tools and resources that have been available. Unfortunately the demands on all the developers is extremely high which has caused the early "retirement" of far too many of them. I am a FIRM believer that some form of financial "appreciation" should just be common sense and fair but unfortunately it's not. YES I do know that some of the developers have said they do not want donations and don't accept them BUT I still would like to show appreciation.

I mean think about it... each of us are in different situations... some here need financial help more than others, some don't need it at all. If all the people that download and use these tools gave a small donation I am quite sure it would add up to something tangible for the developers. For those that don't want donations well... we all have holidays, birthdays, family etc... would it hurt any of us to donate the cost of a beer to show our appreciation.

Yes I know I am rambling on so I will get back on point. I am all for a free and paid Pro version. I think if you give too much away free then people will simply not buy the pro version and in essence it will be a similar finical situation as your in now. If you make the price too high then it becomes prohibitive to far too many people. I personally think somewhere around $20.00 is a reasonable number. (that's about 2 drinks at a bar here in the US :-) ) ... even $30.00 is reasonable.

Have you considered keeping v1 free and v2 paid? Many other software developers do that exact same concept.

  5. I hate to even report this since I know your working on the more important new version but after version 1.5.1.5 I have a problem when I try to use AIO to find my WIM. The wims I am referring to are ones I make by mounting my VHD in windows and then using DISM to create them:

    dism /Capture-Image /ImageFile:C:\WIMs\install.wim /CaptureDir:E:\ /Name:"Windows 7 ENTERPRISE" /Description:"Windows 7 ENTERPRISE" /Compress:fast /CheckIntegrity /Verify

  6. Hmmm I just finished a test and but I didn't get that... in fact I still got the same thing I posted here: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12637-google-default-search-tweak-doesnt-work/?p=111360

It does still say that something 'unknown' is trying to change your default search provider when you first load up IE. You just click 'Change'. It's one of the yellow bar things at the bottom so it isn't or popup or anything.

    Registry.txt

    google.ini

  7. I had tried XML before with no luck but I never used the "ScopeKey" value. I will wait till Lego makes his next release since he thinks he solved it which is amazing since I spent countless hrs trying to get this ti work  :prop:

    Can u try Autounattend.xml

    <component name="Microsoft-Windows-IE-InternetExplorer" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">         <SearchScopes>         <Scope wcm:action="add">              <ScopeDefault>true</ScopeDefault>                <ScopeDisplayName>Google</ScopeDisplayName>                <ScopeKey>SearchProvider1</ScopeKey>                <ScopeUrl>http://www.google.com.tr/search?q={searchTerms}</ScopeUrl>                </Scope>        </SearchScopes>
  8. Tried version 18 and it won't open for me on WIN7x64 but  version 17 does open

  9. Thiersee you have an SSD as well as a ram drive and that's whats I have... I can't remember exactly because I do things differently now but what really made the difference for me is separating the the different temps and mount onto the different drives so your reading and writing from and to each of the drives. I think I used to read the hotfixes from my RAM drive to my SSD... try experimenting that way.

Also speed test your ram drives I found HUGE performance differences between the 4 or 5 I tested and the fasted for me was the SoftPerfect.

    I have now a RAM-Disk with 24 GB, the WTK-Mount- and Temp-folder are set to Z: (RAM-Disk); Windows-Temp-folder is also set to Z: too.

    My Hardware:

RAM 32 GB Crucial Ballistix Elite at 2133 MHz

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB

    RAM-Disk: Radeon/DataRAM
