Hi Shahed26, I know you had a tough time for searching the right solution for your problem, I think you have post the similar question in other forums too. But no luck yet.
In Windows Server 2008 you will not see Preview Thumbnails in your Documents / Music / Video folders by default . This has to be enabled. So please try this

Ok if you want to learn more tutorials than you can also use Autoit Method. It is very useful if u will not get Switches for any particular applications.

Guys as Windows 7 is Rocking and is loved by everyone, i personally also like the interface of New Windows 7 and as all are trying to make Themes, Icons, Bitmaps, based on Windows 7 for Windows XP so i also thought to make Something based on Windows 7 and also to share my work with you.
But for any new creativity one has to take inspiration from somewhere and i have been inspired by Winstyle Project 2009, I think you all now that Project.
Since you all know the addon is not yet Finalized.Someweek back there was initial release of addon but in Russian language, as there was some bugs to be fixed so it has been removed for Downloading and right now it is in testing mode.So i thought to make Some Windows 7 Avi's for Windows XP as i was bored with Vista's Avi's.
Hope you all liked it, If liked comments please for any suggestions.

And also there is one program Known as SFXMaker 1.2 RC3 made by iuli_kyle. just give the path of the installer and click silent switch button It detects silent switch for almost all of the applications and it can also make Swithless addons for Nlite.

i think u should use Klite codec pack ..it can generate thumnail for many video including 3gp,flv .
He said he had already tried Klite cedec pack. Read first post.

You should know the Switches for that particular application or you can run that application in command prompt with the following command /?
eg:- Application.exe /?
you will get the usefull switches.
or you can try Cmenu.

The START button icon is found in the file USER.EXE in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. You can easy edit it. You need to change the 16X16 icon image in USER.EXE to your own. It can be done easly using icon editor (like Microangelo)
USING MICROANGELO
1.Backup USER.EXE.
2.Load your icon to icon editor (Microangelo Librarian).
3.Copy your icon into clipboard.
4.You can't edit USER.EXE while Windows active so copy USER.EXE to some temporary folder for edit.
5.Load USER.EXE to the icon edior.
6.Doubleclick User 001 image (or select Edit).
7.Select 16X16 image size.
8.Paste your icon.
9.Now quit Windows, and replace USER.EXE.
10.Start Windows.
Thats it!

does anyone know how to change the my computer and docs icon in an unattended windowsxp cd in i386 folder. or is there any other way such that the icons are like vista from the first logon itself
Download Reshacker and grab the file shell32.dll or ( shell32.dl_ ) from folder i386 of your xpcd and open with reshacker and click action option in reshacker and click change icons and start changing with your favourite icons, after completing save it and then make a cab file of shell32.dll and throw it in your unattended xpcd.
Or if you want help in changing the icons download the below file it will help you. It describes which icon is responsible for open folder, closed folder, my computer icons, my documents, etc......
