RicaNeaga reacted to abbodi1406 in IE11 needs prerequisite KB2726535 ?
KB2726535 is superseded by KB2768486 & KB2905454
The IE11 prerequisites components of KB2726535 is superseded by KB2768486, and KB2905454 completes the supersedence
so, KB2768486 becomes the new prerequisite instead of KB2533623 & KB2731771
BTW, those KB article are not accurate, if you want to see the actual or complete list of prerequisites check SETUPDOWNLOADLIST.txt that is included with IE11.exe package (after you extract it)

RicaNeaga reacted to Legolash2o in [Solved] Win Toolkit Latest Release Question
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! It worked. The RunOnce detects it running during install and comes back automatically after Windows is finished. You can now integrate those updates safely without worrying about the RunOnce.
Bazinga!!

I will find out which one over the weekend and block it from integrating and instead go to the silent installers list.

RicaNeaga reacted to Legolash2o in Update
Well i've just had to abandon the idea as it was WAY to much work. However, when I 'propose' Win Toolkit for my final year project and it gets approved. I will definitely be experimenting in this area again. The method I was about to use would have sorted ALL the sorting issues you where having.
When it gets approved. I will be pretty much starting from scratch but and will probably drop XP support. Also possibly rewritten in C++ LOL!
I'm tempted to upload a test build for everyone to use (with IE11 support)?
EDIT: I've made IE install after updates.

I've been experimenting a bit. Nowhere near finished the Updates section yet, but should DEFINITELY make things easy for me in the long run!

RicaNeaga got a reaction from alfreire in Update Catalog
Didn't know that, thank you for confirming.
I'll update it every month (the complete archive) until another ''open-source'' alternative is online.
I don't recommend KUC for offline integrations (especially with Win Toolkit), only for online (live) installs. Also KUC isn't up-to-date, last it was updated in october.

RicaNeaga reacted to mooms in [Howto] Integrate IE11 with Win Toolkit ?
RicaNeaga: Never had a problem with KB2574819 & WinToolkit so for the moment I will keep it in the main packs.
Thiersee: I remember having the same problem with IE10, solved with the activation of the compatibility mode on the page:
I don't know if it still exist in IE11, but there is an alternative. (put it in silent installers tab of WinToolkit or run it on live install).
No doubt MS will address the problem anyway.

4.5 installer by default was GDR but I patched it with KB2519265 to change it to take LDR updates (these are non security bug fixes,) with 4.5.1 (it changed) there are 2 installers with 2 sets of files
netfx_Full_GDR_x*.msi andnetfx_Full_LDR_x*.msiIf you ONLY care about security updates you would choose the GDR, but if you want security updates and "hotfixes" from the microsoft knowledge base you should pick LDR (these will fail to install if you install the GDR)If you are using the default EXE and you want to install the LDR branch you need to use
<ndp451_installer>.exe /trainswapBTWLDR = Limited Distribution Release (same as QFE = Quick Fix Engineering)
GDR = General Distribution Release
