Hello Kel,
You should open-source it !
Godspeed.
The problem with that is if it was to remain with the WPIW name the licenses technically would have to be honored and supported....
-
WPIW.net domain is up for renewal in August. I have decided to not renew the domain.
This was done for several reasons chiefly:
Windows 8&10 killed all joy of working with windows for me. I haven't updated from windows 7 and refuse to.
There has been almost zero support and donations from the tech side of my life in a loong time. Nothing for at least a year and well less that a couple hundred for @5years total.WPIW was coming on 14 years in November and had a long, good relatively successful run. My addons were pretty well received but I am not going to sell out and continue with these ventures. I want to thank you all for the good times and the bad and the memories. My email is and will remain as kelsenellenelvian@gmail.com feel fre to drop me a line and I will still check in from time to time.
Please archive all files you may want and this will serve as a release to any intellectual rights I have retained on my addons and mods here...
May you all fare well.
Due to the licenses sold for WPIW I cannot release the continuation of WPIW. However, if someone truly wants to continue this as something else let me know and well see what can be done.

Due to the advent of recent MS practices in the past couple of years (I refuse to install windows 10) and the lack of donations\interest in WPI I am announcing that WPI, likely will reach end of support in the next six months. As some of you know I rely solely on disability to live and I can no longer afford to keep up with domain costs, pc repairs and related costs.
Sad to announce but it has been a hell of a 13 year run for WPI. In it's current form it works well and will continue to work well with legacy os's (Windows 8 and further back)
I really don't have the will or energy to keep trying to breath life into WPI when the support is just not there.
Thank you to all of those who donated in time, sweat, knowledge and support.

Hi Kel,
It's not my intention to argue with your decision, but he could have put all the single ISOs together with WinToolkit...
Where did you get the disc with all the versions?
Thiersee
The reason I am so sure he is using a warez release is that nowhere does he ever mention "I tried the original x86 or x64 iso" I see lots of "I did just this version from the iso" or "I tried only these versions"
-
You're using a illegal source of windows seven. Any further questions about this iso will result in you being banned.
MS Windows seven images did not come in dual 86 & 64 format.
Any arguments with this decision will get you banned also.

Also in case your curious the long stream of random gook at the end is the md5 hash of the file for verification it is whole and unmodified.

It's the OS designator amd64 is what 64 bit is now ia64 was another 64 type that briefly contended with amd 64 but lost. It was still distributed enough to warrent releasing patches that include it. X86, is of course 32 bit. Think of blue ray and hddvd formats. It just says it covers all the actual OS types.
According to this page:
-
IA64 refers to the 64 bit Itanium architecture while x64 is the 64 bit extension to the x86 architecture.
-
The IA64 is exclusive to Intel while x64 is used by all.
-
IA64 was intended for high-end server applications while x64 was initially intended for desktops but were scaled up.
-
IA64 systems are not able to run old x86 applications while most x64 systems are.
-
IA64 is very slow to adopt new computer technologies while x64 is very fast.
-
IA64 would no longer be supported by newer versions of Microsoft Windows while the x64 would still be supported.

Not a bug it's simply not supported read what it says. You have to merge the files. Plus you need a official source not a illegal one. Read my previous post in this thread it applies to you also. Illegal activities are not welcome here.
-
If it's been more than thirty days you have forfeited your windows seven key.
-
I know it's not much help, I am just a big opponent of windows ten.
-
I like the mobile version
-
Go back to windows seven?
-
Would you be interested in going in together on one of these for xp? I have some ideas
-
Did you add a no reboot solution yet?
Can we please get a definitive answer on this?
-
As long as the names are the same
-
Did you read the last post?
-
You can:
- Use "Update target editions" if you can manage to understand how it works.
- Use a SSD.
- Make an updated image every 3/4 months.
- Let WinToolkit updating in the background when you're not on the PC.
I love how everyone says use a SSD but don't stop to think not everyone can have one. Yes they are relatively cheap but even a sixty dollar one is the same price as my power bill. It's all not feasible for everyone have one.

That sounds more like a memory issue. Is the ram ok? Do you have lots of free space on the working drive?
-
I belive it is setup first
