George King got a reaction from nonamealien in Libraries in Windows XP SP3
I´m working on nlite addon, which will move original folders Documents, Music, Pictures to Libraries like Windows 7. Here are some pictures from my Windows XP SP3 CSY
Screen from Libraries folder
Libraries icon on desktop
Libraries and Shared Libraries in Computer
Showing Libraries icon on desktop and Shared Libraries in Computer can be set up in Folder Settings
And yes, this addon will be easy to translate to others languages
What do you think about it?

George King reacted to Kelsenellenelvian in Remove WoW64
You do realize that most 64 programs still rely on the 32bit subsystem?
I.E. Java, most browsers, most av's
This same issue came up when nlite started being able to remove the 16bit subsystem....
There are at best a dozen or so truly 64bit only programs (Ones that have NO 32bit files or dependencies.)
George King reacted to ricktendo in Hotfixes from hotfixshare.net sites cannot be installed!
Why you wont consider implementing KUC is dumb, would so easy to do (because it has command lines that you can easily be called by wintk)
George King reacted to Legolash2o in question about WIM manager
Depends on what your remove. Most users forget to rebuild the image and that most removals are removed during install (DISM) so the image will be mostly the same but smaller after install.
I am currently planning on adding more to the vLite tab which should make the image smaller.

I knew what you meant.
Let me tell you where I come from though.
I have been the developer and caretaker of a app that is freeware and has been around for nearly 9 years. Over all of that time I have had hundreds tell me "If you add (Insert feature) I would gladly donate."
2 people ever followed through. My app has been downloaded millions of times and is used (Without any approval by me) in most popular warez windows distros.
Over 9 years I have received (With the exception of two people that were very generous) @ 1500 usd total. After server and web costs that would leave me with @ 60 usd a year in donations.
There are some weeks (I know the same applies to Legolash) I spend 40+ hours in development.
It is a pretty big slap in the face to tell someone that you use their app and like it allot only to then say the above.
George King reacted to dougiefresh in [Release] TaskKill AddOn v1.0 from XP Pro
I've noticed that a lot of add-ons seem to want to run TASKKILL before actually uninstalling their software. I'm running XP Home Edition, which does not contain TASKKILL.EXE as a standard component. So, I wrote an add-on to add the program to your Windows CDs.
File Size: 31kb
NOTE: Repacked add-on so that original packed TASKKILL.EX_ is packaged so that optimzed ISOs are a little smaller.
George King got a reaction from Macko in Libraries in Windows XP SP3
I think im in the end of this project, only some thing missing.. I need to add right click option "Properities" on Libraries shell object and also add tab which allow move this object somewhere.. And if someone want to make this project in english, just write here. We need many tests..
George King reacted to Legolash2o in Windows 7 Toolkit v1.3.0 ALPHA
Imagex.exe /export C:\install.wim * C:\newinstall.wim
cant check right now as im testing, but i think thats it.
* = ALL, this normally has a number ie 1 and it will export image 1, but * will do them all, first image takes the longest then the rest go quite quickly.
George King reacted to Legolash2o in Windows 7 Toolkit v1.0.2 FINAL
I have managed to get the component removal on the AIO form working so it will remove all the packages from all the images you select instead of just the one. However this won't be available until v1.0.3 and i have not added all of the packages to the list yet which is a boring task
