    This is a mainteance update to #1

    Now includes fix for Adobe Reader during uninstall of Foxit Reader. User who already download earlier adodn may choose not to download this maintenance update if you are not affected/brother by Adobe Reader issue.

    Generally I am not willing to fix or might know how to fix another Reader apps. I fix the adobe reader because it is the main pdf reader apps. It is just a quick-fix approach.

    As bphlpt point out, I don't have so much time to learn every pdf reader's installer that may conflict with Foxit reader nor worth the time fixing this kind of problem. Hope user understands this.

    To avoid registry conflict:

    hence to stay problem-free with this addon, ensure no existing reader is currently installed. If already have an existing one, please uninstall it first. Reboot if necessary. Then install this addon.

    If you wish to use another pdf reader app, pls uninstall this one first.

    I have identified the registry that breaks Adobe Reader 10, and made some modification to inf but I am not free to test the revised inf for the next few days. Does anyone willing to test ?

    (basically I have tested with Adobe reader 10 made by user hidden, install with -ai switch)

    Changes in inf is the addition of IsAdobeRdr.Check section

    Pls rename FoxitRdr.txt to FoxitRdr.inf

    Try installing only one at a time a pdf reader app. They usually conflict each other over registry keys.

    E.g If you want to install foxit reader, then uninstall abobe reader first. This will free up the needed registry keys so that next reader app will install properly w/o conflicting on an existing reader app.

    This error screen looks like Adobe reader is attempting to 'self-heal' because a critical key(s) in registry is/are missing. Hence it tries to locate the msi to repair. But cannot find the needed msi as it is in temp dir. I have no idea how to resolve this except replace the special msi shortcut with some standard lnk type manually.

    I remembered there is something call MSi cleanup utility but looks like it is no longer available for download. Following the link, I end up here, a possible solution but not really sure if it will actually solve your problem.

    tried again with beta 7 with DriveSearch=On

    Now only grab my EPSON WorkForce320 printer. It doesn't grab my EPSON T10 printer driver.

    And DriverGrabber grab EPSON WorkForce320 printer with only 3 files, which I know is not true. There should be more files .

    The final folder has only "image" folder. Compared to my post #5, these folders are missing after running beta 7

    Thanks too. What lang do you need? I am thinking to include your lang file in the cab file

    Just a small note when slipstreaming (from my personal experience)

    If KeyScrambler is install first, then follow by Firefox, it will be silent.

    But if Firefox is install first, follow by KeyScrambler, then KeyScrambler will launch FF which breaks the unattended style and need to click some dialog box to continue setup.

    I run it on normal XP

    Trying to check my EPSON T10 printer driver.

    DriverGrabber 2.0 only grab 5 files.

    But the Driverstore folder also has a subdir WINVISTA_XP_2K (which contains 73 files)

    Looks like DriverGrabber ignore some files. Correct? I look at the E_DF1EBS.INF

    It requires a lot more files to install for XP. (I am looking at [EPNDRVXP.nt] section)
