The images for many of the Dell models are identical. There are only about 3 or 4 different images. I've never tried to find out about actual differences.
It could be a good strategy to pick the latest image (by date), as it is likley to have the lastest updates and drivers.

@Yaron you'll have to wait for March 1. The Windows 7 downloads ar not going to be unlocked earlier.

@Yaron The links are generated on a first-come first-served basis. I just checked the logs to find out when the Hebrew version usually unlocks, but sad to say, it hasn't managed to unlock for more than a year now.
Competition to grab Windows 7 in one of the rarely requested languages is quite high. The best chance to get your download really is to try as often as possible, starting March 1, until no more links can be generated (usually around the 3rd or 4th day of the month).
Also try the other Windows 7 editions (Home, Ultimate, COEM). You can easily convert the disc to Win 7 Pro.
Alternatively, if you don't mind the Dell branding, you can download a multi-lingual Dell disc. There is no restriction on those downloads, and they work on all PC brands.

You can look into this database for all the info you need to compare. https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump.php
Usually Windows 7 images can be obtained only at 1st day of the month. Next will be 1st March if Microsoft don't decide to take them down till then.
Other thing you can try is to search the database for the hash of the image you need and Google it by hash. As long as the file you downloaded match the hash, you can be sure it's the file you want.

    From the FAQ:
Q: I'm experiencing one of the following symptoms:
After selecting a software version, everything grays out and freezes. I'm receiving the popup message "ERROR. Please check your internet connection." I'm receiving an error message in the status bar. A: This is your local connection issue, and can have a number of root causes:
You have modified your HOSTS file. Please remove the following two lines.
    0.0.0.0 aa.online-metrix.net
0.0.0.0 c.bing.com You have installed software that prevents scripts from modifying secure websites, such as certain adblockers, firewalls, privacy tools or similar security related software. You have disabled TLS 1.2 in your internet settings. You can enable it again in the control panel in the Internet Options category. In rare cases, starting the tool as administrator can resolve the issue. In rare cases, installing the latest Windows updates, or updating Internet Explorer or the .NET framework to the latest version can resolve the issue.

So far, all Inspiron Windows 7 images have been identical. In all likelihood, the N5110 one will also be identical. So you can just pick one of the other Inspiron models and download the file.
If you prefer me to check for a specific N5110 download instead, you can send me your service tag, and I'll have a look.

So Microsoft has decided to treat all messages coming from WinCert as severe spam, not even placing them into the users' spam folder, but not delivering them to their inboxes at all.
    Sorry about the inconvenience.
I've just created a second support ticket with MS to re-iterate that this is actually an urgent issue. Let's hope they will react to this one (maybe before the end of year.......)

There are a few dozen different ISO files for Vista. Here's an overview:
    https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Windows+Vista
You can find the most common Vista images by googleing the file name or the hash (usually on dodgy sites).

Now, if you don't want to reinstall as Jan Krohn advised you, you can just upgrade using the generic key.
    Do it like this:
    - disconnect from the internet
    - run an elevated cmd window
    - insert the command      slmgr -ipk VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
    - hit Enter
    - connect to internet

    Hi,
The image is likely identical to the image from other M15 devices, so you can just download the one for M15 R2 for example.
If you want me to add M15 R3 anyway, please send me you service tag, either in this thread, or by PM.

However, there are plenty other Spanish Win 7 editions unlocked (Home Basic, Home Premium).
Better grab one of those while available.

These haven't been generated yet. All downloads are active for 24 hours, so you've not missed the download time.
To be sure not to miss the download window, it's more than sufficient to check twice per day until the Win 7 downloads have disappeared for this round (probably around 6 or 7 October).

00:00 UTC is the correct start time. The first download is already there: Win 7 Home Premium English. It takes a bit of time for more to appear. Tomorrow morning there will be a bunch of different downloads.

It's a first-come first-served basis. The first person that triggers a download after 00:00 decides on the first image that's being made available.
Correct. However, since no-one usually manages to hit the button at the exact hour, there are usually a few seconds difference (for example, the second image might become available at 01:00:15, the third ast 02:00:30 etc.) These small intervals accumulate over time. By now, it's already accumulated to 25 minutes after the full hour.
You can know if you triggered a new download when it takes unusually long before any result shows us (usually 10 to 20 seconds).
Correct. Usually there are 24 different editions available at any time, as long as there are unused product keys available on the database, from which new downloads can be generated. Usually, Win 7 Pro and Ultimate are used up first, then the Home and OEM editions, and Office downloads last the longest. After 6 days, all keys are used up, and after 7 days, the last downloads have expired.
That's because I only have five product keys for Win 7 Pro on file. Each one can generate one download link per month. Once they're used up, that's it. Next month, next chance.
However, Win 7 Home Premium COEM is currently available in Dutch. The link expires at 9:10 tomorrow morning. You can easily convert that image to Windows 7 Pro.

No need to use external software. After downloading, open the image file in the ISO downloader (yellow icon that looks like a disc). Then you can do the conversion.

Indeed. I'll change that for the next release.
Unfortunately no. I did try to obtain product keys to generate these downloads too, but basically gave up on them when Microsoft throttled the product key usage to once per month.

This will probably be the last chance to get Windows 7 and Office 2010 downloads, before Microsoft drops support for these products in early 2020.
Starting October 1, 0:00 UTC, the download database on the server will be reset on the first day of every month. We will then generate one link per hour on a first come first served basis, whatever is requested, until all licenses are used up. The database is then again reset on the first day of the following month, and downloads can be provided again for some time.
Requesting a download can result in one of the four following cases:
    1. A license for link generation of the requested file is currently available, and the last link generation on the server has happened more than an hour ago ---> new link generation will be attempted, and if successful, the download can be provided.
    2. The requested download has been requested and generated in the last 24 hours ---> cached download link will be provided (cached downloads are indicated with a green font in the download tool).
    3. All licenses for the product have been used up ---> come back and try again next month after the database reset.
    4. A license for link generation of the requested file is currently available, however, the server did another link generation for a different product in the last hour ---> come back and try again in one hour, and be faster than everyone else.
I will think about error messages so that you guys can distinguish between cases 3. and 4. easily. Let's see how this will go. Hopefully everyone can still get all downloads they need before MS takes them down for good...
