Thanks. I know this error, and thoroughly investigated multiple times. It's caused by other software on your computer, or one of the other root causes listed in the FAQ entry. It's you local connection issue, and not a bug.

You can't imagine how often I've heard that, and in the end it almost always turns out that the user who has this problem runs some obscure software that interferes with and blocks the ISO downloader.

    Hi,
This issue is explained in the FAQ:
Q: I'm experiencing one of the following symptoms:
After selecting a software version, everything grays out and freezes. I'm receiving the popup message "ERROR. Please check your internet connection." I'm receiving an error message in the status bar. A: This is your local connection issue, and can have a number of root causes:
You have modified your HOSTS file. Please remove the following two lines.
    0.0.0.0 aa.online-metrix.net
0.0.0.0 c.bing.com You have installed software that prevents scripts from modifying secure websites, such as certain adblockers, firewalls, privacy tools or similar security related software. You have disabled TLS 1.2 in your internet settings. You can enable it again in the control panel in the Internet Options category. In rare cases, starting the tool as administrator can resolve the issue. In rare cases, installing the latest Windows updates, or updating Internet Explorer or the .NET framework to the latest version can resolve the issue.

Jan Krohn got a reaction from anniyan in ISO for dell g3 3590
Generally, the newer images are the updated ones.
Looking at this specific list of files, however, I've noticed that one of them is an ASIA version, and three are ROW versions (Rest Of World).
So depending on where you live, you could pick the Asia version, or the newest ROW version. All images are usually multi language versions. I suspect the choice of language could be different on the Asia image, however, I've not tested that.

No, the Latitude 3590 and the G3 3590 are different.
In all likelihood though, the iso files for the G3 3590 will be identical to the other G3 35xx files, such as the G3 3579.
If you want me to check for G3 3590 files anyway, please send me your service tag, and I'll add the downloads to the list.

Thank you for your help. G3 3590 (and many more models) have been added to the new version. Download is already available.

Doesn't exist... Office has US English only.
I've wanted to do that for a very long time... I'm drowing in work right now, but maybe in a couple of weeks.

For a definite answer, you might want to contact Microsoft and ask them when they plan to shut down the downloads API. Everything else is speculation.
(My personal speculation is that it's too late. But let's wait and see what happens on 1 February.)

The Latitude 7290 has an Intel 7th Generation Processor. Intel and Microsoft (and hence Dell) only support Windows 7 on up to 6th Generation Processors so there will be no ISO for that model.

About 99.9% of all prurchased and legitimate Windows 7 keys won't give you any download on that page.
No, just go for whatever is available. Both COEM and retail images accept both COEM and retail keys for installation and activation.
The August 2018 version would also work just fine.

I know but people doesn't know that all those SKUs are all included in the WIM image. I can't just upload one SKU and tell them to patch the ISO to unlock other SKUs.

I've never worked with the August 2018 update. I don't know whether it has all the repair options. Maybe someone else can answer that.
I was actually speaking about the normal Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 English download, the link of which has already been generated by someone, and is currently still available.

This will probably be the last chance to get Windows 7 and Office 2010 downloads, before Microsoft drops support for these products in early 2020.
Starting October 1, 0:00 UTC, the download database on the server will be reset on the first day of every month. We will then generate one link per hour on a first come first served basis, whatever is requested, until all licenses are used up. The database is then again reset on the first day of the following month, and downloads can be provided again for some time.
Requesting a download can result in one of the four following cases:
    1. A license for link generation of the requested file is currently available, and the last link generation on the server has happened more than an hour ago ---> new link generation will be attempted, and if successful, the download can be provided.
    2. The requested download has been requested and generated in the last 24 hours ---> cached download link will be provided (cached downloads are indicated with a green font in the download tool).
    3. All licenses for the product have been used up ---> come back and try again next month after the database reset.
    4. A license for link generation of the requested file is currently available, however, the server did another link generation for a different product in the last hour ---> come back and try again in one hour, and be faster than everyone else.
I will think about error messages so that you guys can distinguish between cases 3. and 4. easily. Let's see how this will go. Hopefully everyone can still get all downloads they need before MS takes them down for good...

Jan Krohn got a reaction from Johsp in Win 7 / Office 2010: Monthly Download Days starting October 1 (experimental)
It's an experimental feature. Downloads will be generated at an extremely slow rate to avoid being blocked by Microsoft.
From the tests I've made, I'm confident that it's going to work, but only at a rate of one download per hour, for about 20,000 daily users... Therefore, chances for people to get the exact download they need might be a bit low.
But if you need an Ultimate download, you can still go for a different edition (Home, Pro), and convert the iso file to an all-in-one file.
