[Slim] .NET Framework 4.6.1 Full x86/x64 (2-27-2016)

Hmm... KB3074233 KB3074554 are still offered in WU; I tried on live install and a clean install in VMware

That's weird. I just tried it in both VM & live install (win7 x64) & everything is ok. I uninstall the previous net 4.6 before installing this one.

I did the same thing on a live system; uninstalled previous version, reboot, etc.

For testing in vmware, it was a clean install, that means all hotfixes/updates and this latest NET4.6

I'll run another test with only NET4.6 integrated.

EDIT:

I just re-downloaded it and compared the hashes - they didn't match  with *.exe from yesterday. I'll run test anyway.

EDIT 2

It's all good now!

Hi. Thank your for the great job you've done!

I tried to replicate your slim installer with provided scripts. Had to add in VBS script two extra lines (Rotate9.ico,Rotate10.ico) and comment out 'EXTUI' line, after that SuperOrca shows that both produced *.msi files are the same as in your slim installer. (All the other files are checked and they are identical with yours).

HOWEVER, the sizes of MSI files are different (for -x64), and their content also (ORCA shows they are identical).

Anyway, I get an error "Error 1311. Source file not found: ...netfx_full.mzz. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it"

If I add *.mzz file, error goes away, but the installer grows in size.

How the hell did you suppressed this error in your case? I looked for it in the thread, saw the same errors but not the solution how to get rid of them.

Thanks for your great work

always normal that version is always 4.6.81.0 ?

Until Microsoft comes out with a hotfix rollup AIO installer (like they did with 4.5.x) I think this version number will not change, because its the same installer with the 4 updates integrated
