x23piracy
Hi, iam still using Windows 7 Installation over PXE and i tried the same with Windows 8.Iam Booting a plain WinPE over PXE that mounts a network share with the Installation files. With Windows 7 that all works amazing well for me but with Windows 8 i get the followingafter some progress of installing Windows 8: The source of the installation files is a fresh iso that works if burned to a dvd. Any ideas? Greetz X23
crashfly
Unfortunately, I cannot read that language (German I think). If you can translate it for the English readers, we might be able to properly help you.
x23piracy
Hi, the error message tells me: Windows cannot install needed files. The file is maybe damaged or missing.Be sure that all needed files for installation are available then restart the installation. The Errorcode is multilingual i think The Joke is the same happens if i try to do this with an untouched win8, this isno WTK Problem. It's good possible that this a virtual box problem i couldn't test it yet with a physical machine. myselfidem
Have you selected Windows 8 or Windows 8 (64 bit) with Oracle Virtual Machine to test your Windows 8 image?
cluberti
While you've said the ISO is fine, I'd say Windows says something is amiss: C:\Users\Carl>err 80070570# as an HRESULT: Severity: SUCCESS (0), Facility: 0x4c5, Code 0xc7aa# as an HRESULT: Severity: FAILURE (1), Facility: 0x7, Code 0x570# for hex 0x570 / decimal 1392 : ERROR_FILE_CORRUPT winerror.h# The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.# 1 matches found for "80070570"
