My steps:

1. After iv integrate much updates, i used Component Remover and delete some of image.

2. Now i start AIO-Integrator, and try Component Remove - Tab, choose things and lets do.

- But after finished, these components are still in image and displayed as removable.

Ahhh okay, was thinking its.

Then go this for request. :)

For the Component Remover same?

Sometimes it show me some items, sometimes not.

(Example: Localstuff hv removed in first run, same run i remove parental control, but after i restart CR, it show me again parental controll, and local stuff not.)

ATM its hard to see what iv removed, what not...

If that is the file or folder name, I would hope you shorten it, eliminate any spaces in the name and path, and copy it as close to the root of the drive as possible before working with or on it, just to be on the safe side.  Something like W7SP1U64-140118 is still long-ish, but gets all of the information across in a readable format.  MOST tools these days can handle spaces correctly, but you can still occasionally run into path-length limitations, so why risk possible problems when they are easy to avoid?

Cheers and Regards

AIO Integrator will always show the same components. It doesn't even scan for what has/hasn't been removed.

Curious as to why you've done this versus scanning which would make sense as people then know when they pass the image through again

Iv got a look again on this problem.

After removing done, "Parental Controll" still show for removable.

And another strange thing: The size of Image is increased. O.O

Update:

So, iv started install in vm.

I got also an "NSIS Error: Failed to start installer" (or anything like this) at final install-frame.

After i click "ok" the Windows-install continues without problems...

So, at the moment, just still "parental control" -bug and the increased size of image- bug exist.

(parental control is also still available in installed windows, but if you click on it, nothing happen.)

Next time i will test more and compare set and image...

lol? How name of any game that requiring this?

I play much games, much "adult-only" games, never needed yet..

But anyway if it removable it should removed after remove. :)

I haven't removed it since but a few games (your normal any age games) would not run and some not install when I was using windows 7 with it removed.

Might be games rated like M for violence and stuff.

Can't give you names off the top of my head since this was a year or 2 back

googgling: yea was a windows 7 issue, so not sure if it ok under 8/8.1 now, but since you're using 7 I would recommend not to remove it.

Maybe a bug, fixed by any update? :)

I dunno, strange thing.. and it "green-marked" in WTK.

My system is standard set for "ESRB", dunno what thats.

Also the service is standard on "manual", so its just in use if it started.

Here, iv looked,"parental controls cannot apply on own account"

Maybe uv created a new one and then it came?

Mhhhh

But, thanks for this tip.

When games may not started cuz of it, so better keep this **** into image...

While I agree that this seems to be the best approach:

When games may not started cuz of it, so better keep this **** into image...

This still seems to be errant behavior which should be fixed, even if hardly ever used:

After removing done, "Parental Controll" still show for removable.
