KB3175024 devrait remplacer KB3167679. pourtant celle-ci n'est pas nettoyée par le deep-clean. Je vais faire un test en ne l'intégrant pas.

EDIT : elle n'est plus demandée. Idem pour KB3187022.

I updated 3 other VMs based on the previous UL (26-08) but I excluded KB3175024; after restart WU was still asking for it .

@Thiersee

According to abbodi1406 KB3175024 should be superseeded by new KB3172605 but is still asked by WU. KB3167679 and KB3187022 are superseeded, but they are not removed by deep-clean in both Rollup and classic VMs (x64 and x86). I uninstalled them in my VMs they are no more asked.

Right, but not the support site, which I can reach from WU: there is still the link to the july rollup (just tested).

Yes i know
Download Center Links takes few days to follow

last month, IE11 cumulative released on DC was older version than the actual WU one, and it took them two days to fix it :)

Good news:

all my installations (VM+1 HW) work perfectly wit the new ULs: HPx86 (only german), HP & P x64, German and Italian.

Bad news:

the tool Windows ISO Downloader (heidoc.net) to download Windws-ISOs, is no more available; people starting the tool get the message "control your Internet connection".

The real reason is MS closed or blocked the site Techbench, where the tool was referring to.

Fortunately there is on Github a dump of the Techbench-site with the links (until MS closes this "backdoor" too!).

yes getting same error (at heidoc.net). the new link works. it says the link is good for 24 hrs (9/17/2016). don't know if that's recurring every time you try new DL. Thx for the info.

btw can I use the new UL from September to make a _64 home premium in English?

regards...

Of course, why not?

Second group of updates for Windows 7, look at abbodi1406's post in MDL.

What I already experienced and tested:

on the first search does KB3177467 (servicing stack) NOT appear in WU; installed the other 4 updates, restarted and made a new search: KB3177467 has been requested too.

Made a deep cleaning: KB3168965 & KB3177723 uninstalled (may be only a component?).

BTW, I made an sfc /scannow and it seems KB3188988 has resolved the sfc-issue installing Windows with the Convenience Rollup Pack.

Regards, Thiersee

Edit:

KB3184143 removes GWX and some updates regarding W10-Upgrade ended on 29.07: if I didn't ever install those updates, I don't need this update, or...?

Hello,

To my opinion, KB3184143 is useless if you didn't install any W10 related updates. And I wonder if KB3188988 is usefull when you use Classic integration method ?

KB3168965 was removed. KB3177723 is replaced by KB3182203. In my x86 classic integration VM, deep-clean removed KB3006625, KB3033929, KB3138962, and KB3161561 too.

In my test VM KB3177467 was not asked. @abbodi1406 : does KB3177467 superseed KB3020369 ?

He's not sure:

not sure if this makes it supersede current one KB3020369
or we need to keep that for offline integration, and KB3177467 for live online installation

But (my opinion):

If KB3020369 is a prerequisite for Convenience Rollup andKB3177467 does not allow other pending action before the next reboot.....

Same opinion for me. No info in WUC website. I didn't include KB3188988 in my classic integration VMs. I have to check version of USB drivers included in it if the version is updated, it will be usefull.

I think that KB3177467 is asked if you installed KB3184143. After reboot in all machines it is still not asked (I didn't include KB3184143 in my test).

EDIT : after instaling KB3184143, KB3177467 is not asked.

I just finished a test on VM x86 DE.

For some special reason I build my Win7-ISO in two steps (to be more flexible):

Step1 ISO with UL and noting other.

Step 2 the ISO from step 1 + Tweaks, Pictures, REG-files, component-removal and so on, + 1 SFX to put a DVD-exe symbol on Desktop (to start WPI).

For the test I put KB3177467 under Silent Installer+SFX and build the ISO.

Installed in VM and absolutely no issue, then the other 4 updates from WU installed; reboot and no requests mor from WU.

SFC /scannow passes, only an error (repaired) from wallpaper files.

For me it means, KB3177467 can put under "Silent Installer + SFX" and it works.

BTW, on 3 works PC, all installed in the classic way, I couldn't install KB3185278!

Hello,

Changelog des ULs (identique x86 x64) :

Common Updates : KB3182203 remplace KB3177723, KB3181988, KB3185278 rollup remplace KB3006625, KB3033929, KB3138962 (classic), et KB3168965, KB3184143 remplace KB2515325 et KB3080446 (classic).

RunOnce Updates : KB3177467

For now, and since it's special exclusive update, KB3177467 does not supersede KB3020369
and if you uninstalled/did not install  KB3020369, WU will request KB2533552 explicitly (in addition to the famous SP1 entry)

i don't know if KB3188988 is useful or not, but as i said about KB3184143, i take is as reqular USB update
btw,  KB3188988 require KB3020369 as prerequisite

Strange thing during new UL x86 test : a 50 kbit part of KB3046269 (installed RunOnce just before KB3177467) is asked at first reboot.

I'll make a new test installing it after KB3177467.

EDIT : it works putting KB3046269 after KB3177467.

I'm now trying test on x64 machine.
