[12 novembre 2019] Update list GDR pour Windows 7 SP1 x86/x64 (Fr-En-De-Es-It)

Recommended Posts

For KB2970228 I would use this links, so the file-name is already OK and you don't need to change it:

x64: http://download.microsoft.com/download/B/D/0/BD037160-0E07-4346-B4B8-C57E1687C075/Windows6.1-KB2970228-x64.msu

x86: http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/5/2/F52EAFA8-4B70-4F4B-A8E8-7134442A50C3/Windows6.1-KB2970228-x86.msu

instead of

http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/updt/2014/08/windows6.1-kb2970228-x64_929e88aa259841f7936be32c82da56bf2ba22f73.msu and

.......

You can uncheck or delete of the ULs..... KB2976627 in IE 11 section, since KB2977629 seems to be cumulative for english users (please check and report, I only have a french version of Windows 7).....

I would not delete it.

I'm on it. It's not like it gonna explode or anything, right? :D

I'll have the results in ~30min.

Of course not :D !

During an integration (german) without KB2976627 I got an error and because of the posts on MDL I put the patch again in the list.

@dareckibmw

Thx for your test. Changelog edited.

@Thiersee

I didn't encounter any bug with KB2970228 provided via Windows update catalog (UL's link). I'll check your version.

@mooms

No, no, may be I did not explain in the right way!

There is no bug with KB2970228, it was only a proposal, to get the update in the same form like all the other.

@mooms,

Hallo,

after an integration with updates by rhahgleuhargh-UL does WU ask for .NET-FW 4.5.1 (not 4.5.2, the actual; but that's Microsoft....).

Did you start again the search after the installation?

If you installed NET-FW 4.5.2 as silent installer it should not ask for the old version.

Regards, Thiersee

Hello,

@non-french users : For non-European users, KB97602 is useless.

Hi rhahgleuhargh!

My PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit edition and I suggest adding some more GDR updates:

rhahgleuhargh-list contains only update asked by Windows Update.

Some of the updates in your list have been replaced by others already present in the rhahgleuhargh-UL-Lists.

Just one example:

KB2872339 has been replaced by KB2922229 and this one is already in the UL.

You can control in the MS-Update-Catalog.

Hello Hoa Moc Lan,

Thx for your suggestion.

As Thiersee wrote, the ULs I've published only contain updates asked by WU after a fresh installation of Win 7 SP1.

I had a look on WU catalog, and most updates of your list are no more referenced, or have been superseeded by others, except 4 of them, but they are not asked by WU in my test. So I don't think they have to figure in the list.

An exception with the first update, KB917607, published in year 2009, which gives the possibility to read .hlp files. I'll make a test with imported Vista games like Texas Holdem (it's impossible to access help in Win 7).

EDIT : help file of the game is not accessible even with the update installed.

Hi rhahgleuhargh and Thiersee!

I still don't understand what you said, please explaine more. From Microsoft website, I found:

- KB2872339 resolves the "Vulnerability in Windows Service Control Manager could allow elevation of privilege" issue (support.microsoft.com/kb/2872339).

- KB2922229 resolves the "Vulnerability in Windows file handling component could allow remote code execution" issue (support.microsoft.com/kb/2922229).

And I found nowhere in Microsoft which says KB2922229 replaces/supersedes KB2872339.

When I ran the 2014-09-10-Windows-7-PostSP1 GDR-x86-FRA.7z update pack together with my 19 above-mentioned updates, the installed updates list in my computer displays both KB2872339 and KB2922229. Moreover, two KB2763523 and KB2832414 updates in the 2014-09-10-Windows-7-PostSP1 GDR-x86-FRA.7z update pack has been deleted.

I still don't have time to find out which ones of the 19 above-mentioned updates has superseded KB2872339 and KB2922229.

Hello,

Just go to Windows Update Catalog website with IE (doesn't work with other Web browsers) and check each update. For KB2872339, you'll find it has been replaced by KB292229, have a look on the screen capture below.

Removed updates of ULs are checked both via WUC, WU logs and disk cleanup logs after each patch tuesday.

ULs are checked every month with a fresh integration, and contain the minimal number of GDR updates required, so when you launch WU after first reboot, no updates are asked. If you need more updates, I suggest you to check the official list of Windows Updates Downloader website.

Hallo Hoa Moc Lan,

did you use a fresh installation? Which ISO are you using? Which language?

Regards, Thiersee

Edit:

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32bit in French (I had the ISO already ;)) with rhahgleuhargh's UL

lqxkzcs73jmm.jpg

and WU asked only for following updates

critical:
dvt6we2a1ub2.jpg
Don't care about KB976932, it's effect of KB2533552 not yet installed.

and optional:
neswwqbms3ep.jpg

I used the ISO X17-59195 (Windows 7 SP1 U refresh 32bit Professional, ei.cfg removed).

Bonjour,

A revérifier toutefois.
