[14 janvier 2020] Update list GDR pour Windows 7 SP1 x86/x64 (Fr-En-De-Es-It)

Recommended Posts

rhahgleuhargh any idea why kb2813347 is asked as an important update on my win 7_64 HP vm by WU first time check? you said that update has to do with RDP which I do not integrate into my iso.

if you're busy dont worry about it. Thx in advance for all your help.

rhahgleuhargh I have at least 120GB available on the drive when I am integrating and yes those 2 updates are in prerequisites.

64bit Win7 works good, though it seems WTK hangs when i close it now as well.

Not sure why, maybe i need to reinstall windows or something.

wow that's pretty drastic. The whole reason to make the iso is to install windows easily. without it win install is a big PAIN. while I have had my own issues, the one you're having is not one of them. You haven't given much info. are the updates in the correct order? 3125574 is the only update with a three (3-kb3125574) in front of it and naturally is in-between the 2's and 4's, so in the middle of the pack of updates. do not integrate 2532552. are you doing classic or convenience method? updates for _64 bit 2603229, 3046269, 3177467, 2685811, 2685813 go in silent section. if using home premium 3004375 not needed. hope that helps...

KB2813347 is an update for RDP 7.0, which is needed too when you want to integrate RDP 8.1. And since RDP 7.0 is already included in Windows 7 (?), that's certainly why it's asked by WU. But curiously, KB2813347 is superseeded by KB3075220 (in No RDP category) when you don't use RDP 8.1(I didn't make a test yet without RDP with Convenience Rollup integration method, but it is the case with Classic integration method). Abbodi1406 has certainly the good answer to this question. Is KB3075220 asked after KB2813347 in your case ? Is KB3019978 asked too as it's the case for Classic integration method ? if yes, I'll rename the Category.

I allways integrate RDP 8.1 because :

- it's very difficult to activate it if you didn't integrate it previously in the ISO (some KBs refuse to install, you need fist to uninstall noRDP category updates and integrate RDP 8.1 in the correct order, and it doesn't allways work),

- this feature is enabled in 10 and 8.1, and is certainly more secured than previous versions (even if I don't use it).

- Convenience Rollup includes some of required RDP 8.1 updates

The only reason to not integrate it was when I installed 7 Starter Edition in my old Atom N270 1 GB RAM netbook (which switched quickly to Lubuntu that works very better !).

hope everyone's weekend is going well.

I noticed on my VM that after installing the latest 3/14/17 UL created iso, when checking updates on WU in the OPTIONAL updates there is kb4012218, which is the march preview monthly rollup. how does this differ from kb4012215 which we integrated for March?

MS releases a main rollup update on the 2nd tuesday (KB4012215) and a preview for the next month on the 3rd tuesday; for april it is KB4012218; if you install this preview, WU request a security patch for IE11 KB3185319.

thiersee that's what I thought but the rollup kb4012218 says its the MARCH preview, not the APRIL preview. This is very confusing since we just integrated March's rollup kb4012215...

OK, ok!

It's the rollup for April, released on the 3rd tuesday of March..

BTW, I wrote "a preview for the next month".

Thiersee my beef is with MICROSOFT, unless I am misunderstanding. A "PREview" means BEFORE or something that is YET to come. So a PREVIEW KB such as kb4012218 released the 3rd Tuesday of MARCH should have in its description the following months name, in this case APRIL. But Microsoft names it a MARCH preview. (why because they release it in march??)

I only bring this up because after I installed my MARCH iso with kb4012215 and then did a WU search for new updates, in the optional section of WU I saw this MARCH preview with kb4012218. At first glance since the kb's are only one number different (2215, vs 2218) I thought that for some reason my integrating of the real MARCH rollup (kb4012215) did NOT get integrated. Sorry if I am beating an old horse to death. I thought others who are reading and learning here might also get confused. Maybe its semantics. Once again thank you for all your help in the past.

@rhahgleuhargh

Updates for April 2017:

KB4015549: replaces KB 4012215 and KB3156017 (Deep-Cleaning)

KB4014981: it contains 4 single updates (have a look here); KB4014565 is the patch for .NET-FW 3.5.1.

Depending on my wife (you know why), I'll try tomorrow an integration and report.

Edit:

Convenience Rollup Methode used.

Hello,

De mon côté, j'ai :

Security Monthly Quality Rollup : KB4015549 remplace KB4012215, KB3156017, KB3118401, KB2676562, KB3123479 (common), KB3126446, KB3146706, et KB3149090 (classic)

DNF 3.5.1 KB4014565 remplace KB3210131

Installed W7 x86 and x64, Convenience Rollup method, without the replaced updates (KB4012215, KB3156017, KB3118401 from your post and KB3123479 from @Pink_Freud's post): no issues, no requests from WU after installation and restart.

BTW 1, if KB3118401 & KB3123479 are installed, they are not detected by Deep Cleaning; manually uninstalled without issues.

You don't need to put KB4014981 in the list, KB4014565 (DNF 351-part of KB4014981) is enough.

Mise à jour de l'archive pour masquer les mises à jour vers W10/Télémétrie avec un script unique.

Downloaded and tested: the generated .exe doesn't work, because of a small error in the file Telemetry.cfg.

RunProgram="Classic.vbs" instead of RunProgram="Telemetry.vbs" ;)!

After correction it works.

Frohes Osterfest.
