[14 janvier 2020] Update list GDR pour Windows 7 SP1 x86/x64 (Fr-En-De-Es-It)

Hello,

Changelog of this month:

Security Monthly Quality Rollup : KB4025341 remplace KB4022719, KB3042553 (classic) et KB3121255 (classic)

It will therefore not be this month that the cumulative update absorbs all the old KB ...

rhahgleuhargh question. On my main win 7 home system yesterday when the updates came from M$ in addition to kb4025341 I received kb2952664. they both got successfully installed. I then did a deep clean and 2952664 was uninstalled (superseded). while this was going on I was making the july iso and I included 2952664 (a #2 position). WTK failed on IE11 (but I get that now and then, still don't know why). I removed 2952664 and everything went 100%. Just curious why my system called for 2952664. its win 7_64 home premium.

regards...

Hello,

Uls uploaded!

@Thiersee

Bug with IE 11 solved by KB4032782 is included in the new cumulative patch.

Does kb4032782 pertain to CONVENIENCE UL64 updates? :blink:I do not see it.:huh:

Was also wondering why KB2533552 is still included in ul64 convenience updates? I don't integrate it anymore and iso works perfectly!

Thanks for taking the time to DL these updates every month. Much appreciated.:D

@pennsylvaniaron

KB4032782 was not asked by WU, but it solved some problems with IE 11. This update is now included in july cumulative update, so no need to download it.

For KB2533552, it was explained a lot of times in previous posts, and it's writen in the tutorial : some people prefer to integrate it and satisfy WU, even it's superseeded. I left it in ULs so everyone can do what he/she wants. :)

And if you use the "Telemetry.exe" this KB will be hidden.

An hint for people using WMF 3.0 and higher.

the last rollup KB4025341 seems to have problems with the Power Shell contained in every WMF-pack:

if KB4025341 has been integrated and you install WMF after this KB (no matter if under Silent Installs+ SFX in WTK, with WPI or manually) WU asks again for this KB with full size!

So I eliminated WMF 3.0 from my installation!

I tested this with WMF 3.0 and 4.0 with the same results.

On running systems no problem;

BTW, KB4025341 contains a correction for WMF 3.0 and, after a deep-clean, another patch (KB2809900, part of WMF 3.0) will be uninstalled as superseeded.

@rhahgleuhargh

Then I have a question: why it has been working until now ????

You mean integrate all before CR + WMF, then loading the .wim again and integrate CR + all other KBs?

I'm not sure, if it works: after the 1st integration were almost all marked with "install pending"....

Then a second question: do I really need WMF 3.0 or higher (W7 contains 2.0)?

@Thiersee

I didn't test WMF yet. I only added version 3.0 (outdated since there is a 4.0 version) in UL because some files were updated in CR. I don't use other features as XP Mode no more, VirtualBox is better and faster for XP emulation.

I meant integrate first WMF alone, and then all updates (or WMF and updates before CR, and then CR and later updates, but first solution is easier).

For a basic/classic usage of a computer, ie multimedia, Web, Office apps, and games, I don't think WMF is usefull.

I'm back :(!

WMF is not integrable offline:

WTK detect it as to be moved under "Silent Install + SFX", but no matter if I put it under "Updates" (manually, before CR) or under Silent installers (moved by WTK), the ISO does not work: "Windows couldn't configure some components..."

If it was under "Updates" after integrating it does not appear in tab "Integrated".

And I say again: until the rollup of June it worked without issues (installed) after Win-Installation (WPI).

If I see in the next months I need WMF, so I must install WIN with the ISO of June and then update.

Anyway, it does not work with KB4025341 without the new request in WU.

Quote

WU asks again for this KB with full size!

Not comparable with the old issue KB2533552/SP1 (only a part of SP1 was requested).

OK, good to know.

If I resume : if you want to integrate WMF you have to add it into silent install + SFX folder and then add KB4025341 after it.

Not exactly ^_^:

I install Win7 with the ISO from June: WMF 3.0 is installed by WPI, not by WTK "Silent Installers + SFX", after WIN7 has been installed and restarted.

After this I let WU search for updates and get KB4025341.

What I haven't tested yet: to install only KB2506143 (WMF 3.0) without the two updates KB2809900 & KB2823180 (x86) or KB2809900 & KB2823180 & 2809215 (x64); I'll try it.

I confirm, it doesn't work too.

Installed with KB4025341 (WTK) and KB2506143 only (WPI):

WU asks for KB4025341 and KB2823180; installing only KB2823180: WU still asks for KB2823180 (reduced size).

On my opinion, even if KB4025341 has been asked with full size, only a part of is needed, because the installation time is a lot shorter.WMF_3a.JPG.eff1457566c62214d383ee5c7f132046.JPGWMF_3b.JPG.f42cf271d410945019ebf85f7aa9ac46.JPGWMF_3c.JPG.92275cd8b5a108d0eccfa0948c3b52d6.JPG

Correct, the full size is only shown in WU interface

the actual downloaded size is only update metadata express.cab + the updated components for WMF (downloaded in differential delta size)

KB4025341 contain updated components for all WMF versions: 3.0/4.0/5.1

side note, why are you using v3.0.? :)

This is an extremely good question, I'd like to know it too :(!

Since I begun to work with WTK I had this installer in my set of programs to install after win7...

Do I need it for a normal work (no development or particular jobs)?

  • 3 weeks later...

Hello,

@rhahgleuhargh

The optional KB4032113 contains KB4024848 (NET-FW 4.7) & KB4014596 (NET-FW 3.5.1).

As I read in an Italian forum KB4014596 should replace KB4014504 (in the UL), but after installing a DeepClean did not uninstall it.

In KB4032113 there is an "hidden" request too (not of interest for the ULs): KB4019990; if this one ist not installed (even if not necessary anymore after june-rollup) KB4032113 is still requested, but with only 2,7 MB;  similar to the story of SP1 ---> KB2533552....

Tested with x64.

Bonjour,
