[14 janvier 2020] Update list GDR pour Windows 7 SP1 x86/x64 (Fr-En-De-Es-It)

Recommended Posts

  • 4 weeks later...

Hello,

Hi rhahgleuhargh,

do you need the links?

I've the list ready.

I did not test an installation yet.

A noter que KB3023266 est censée être remplacée par KB3031432 mais n'est pas nettoyée par le deep-clean...

If you proof KB3023266 in MS-Update Catalog it says, this KB has been replaced by KB3031432 and KB3008483.

Yes, that's correct. Also note KB3021952 (IE11 Cumalative update) supersedes KB3008923 but also is not cleaned up by deepclean. I uninstalled KB3023266 and KB3008923 on VM & "live" system, installed KB3021952 & KB3031432 thru WU, re-checked WU came back "clean" (no updates to install).

KB3008483 is incorrect # s/b KB3000483... KB3000483 is installed in "bundle" update with KB3004375 (or vice-versa?)...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3000483

How do I get this update?

The functionality discussed in this advisory can be obtained by installing the 3004375 update directly (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3004375). Note that the update is also bundled with the updates being released in MS15-011 (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3000483) and MS15-015 (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3031432). Either update will install the 3004375 update automatically.

HTH :)

@Thiersee,

Thanks for the links but the list is ready too !

I have only few time until the end of the week, but I'll try some integration tests (for IE 11 only with KB3021952, KB3034196 without KB3008923 and KB3025390, and for the updates without KB3023266,  KB3006226 and other superseeded udates).

Answer is coming soon !

@Pink_Freud,

sorry, you just posted a few seconds before I did !

Thanks for reporting !

For deep-clean, logs only include KB not related to IE. This is the reason why it's difficult to see if the cumulative update really replaces the previous ones.

Same list as mine... also note that KB3021952 (IE 11 Cum Updt) is another "bundle" update thru WU that installs 3021952 & also KB3023607 so KB3023607 should be included in list... Download 3021952 thru M$ Catalog Updates includes both 3021952 (49mb)& 3023607 (5.2mb - 55mb total) - both must be integrated for clean WU tested in VM vs only KB3021952 (49.8 mb) thru M$ Download Center, no standalone KB3023607 Direct d/l link for KB3023607 x64 in WU log: http://download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/software/secu/2015/01/windows6.1-kb3023607-x64_cfdc9171dc78c679a3daf3b33aa2a9e362c292b2.msu

I Installed just now W7 x64 (VM) without KB3008923 but with KB3025390: WU asked for KB3021592 but with 10% of the normal size, only 5,2 MB!

@trash491

KB3034196 requested after reboot

I don't think this is so; I installed the updates yesterday and rebooted many times, but WU requested KB3034196 only today!

Thiersee

Edit:

@Pink_Freud

It seems the 5,2 MB WU requested is KB3023607...

Edit2:

Yes, it is!

Yes, confirmed by uninstalling KB3023607 (after installed thru WU "bundle" KB3021592, 55mb) then re-checked WU, asked for KB3021592 5.2mb... installed standalone 3023607 manually recheck WU ask only MSRT.

Edit to add: Also test install in VM with KB3021592 (49.8mb) & KB3023607 (5.2mb) integrated DISM WU ask only MSRT :)

.....

.....

If you look to the MS-Info for this update, you'll see (under "More Information") that there are problems with it; those problems are solved installing KB3020338.

May be, this has the effect to make KB3006226 superseded and uninstalled by deep-clean.

thanks guys for all these infos.

So, for IE 11, only KB3021592 and KB3023607 seem to be needed. I'm just testing a fresh install in VM to check if previous IE 11 updates are needed or not (KB2976627 for ex).

EDIT: You're welcome thank you for your hard work, it's very much appreciated.

I'm anxious for your result, I may try something similar :) I was wondering the same about KB2976627... last time I left it out WU asked for it although it was (allegedly) superseded (in succession) by KB2977629 - KB2987107 - KB3003057 - KB3008923 - KB3021952

Hmm, strange my deepclean log shows KB3006226 as valid & "applicable"

2015-02-11 16:26:57, Info CBS Skipping: Package_for_KB3006226~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.4 due to applicability

....

Sorry, I can't confirm it, see my post #416.

Thiersee

Ahh, I see... I have KB3020338 hidden (along with M$E, Silverlight & 27 KB's - see attached .VBS script)  thus you're apparently correct: 3020338 supersedes 3006226 though I can't find anything from M$ to document that. Thank you again :)

EDIT: Confirmed, installed KB3020338, deepclean adds KB3006226 as superseded:
