Hi,

the KB2603229 (Wincert install this Update default as silent Installs).

But it works without errors! (Integrating work and when Windows starts it is also integrated correct).

I have make a Video:

www.comic-site.de/video.rar

In the short version, only with KB2603229. It works correctly.
But even if you use all the updates it works correctly too.

P.S. for me is the V 1.4.38.2 until now the best Version :-)

Hi Liam,

WinToolkit pushed KB2603229 (on 64-bit System only) to Advanced -> Silent Installs + SFX!

The other problem is that RunOnce Installer is not working;-)

So when i disable on tab options (Compatibily Check, Failed Updates to Silent Installers & Move Know Problem Updates to Silent Installer), he pushed it to the tab Basic - Updates + Languages.

See screens!

He integrated this Update correctly and when Windows start,

Windows Update dosn't found this Update :-)

Also, the update effect is present!

See Screen and Microsoft Articel for changes!

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2603229

See Screen3 for effectly under Windows ;-)

KB2603229 changed the Registry Key from

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\currentversion\RegisteredOrganization
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\currentversion\RegisteredOwner
to the correctly Registry Key:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\currentversion\RegisteredOrganization
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\currentversion\RegisteredOwner

I hope you can fix it.

@Thiersee, I know there are several updates that are not integratable, If you would be so kind as to begin a thread listing those updates then I will sticky it so others can easily refer to it.  IIRC, there are certain combinations of updates or setup conditions that might cause that list to vary, so I'm sure that folks will add to the thread with their own experiences. TIA

Cheers and Regards

Hi Thiersee,

correct.

KB2603229 you can  integrate correctly over Basic - Updates + Languages!!!!

The effect is correctly and he integrated it correctly too.

KB2533552 can not be integrated thats correct!

This must push Wintoolkit in the Advanced Tab - Slide Silent Installer + SFX!!

It only needs to KB2603229 for Basic - be unlocked to Updates + Languages.
KB2533552 has about Advanced - are blocked from WinToolkit to Silent Installer + SFX

But KB2603229 works correcty over Basic - Updates + Languages!!!

See screen, the Registry fix is correct! (KB2603229 with Basic - Updates + Languages integration!!!!)

Please fix it, thanks

I know only the two, KB2533552 (for both x64 & x86) and KB2603229 (only x64);

BTW, there is already a lot of thread regarding this two KBs ;).

@Cartman586:

There are many threads regarding this two updates, for example

http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12271-not-integratable-updates-kb2533552-kb2603229/ (post #2)

EDIT: This thread has been merged with the that of the second link above (bphlpt)

Note for OEMs and system builders

Do not slipstream this update KB2603229 into preconfigured operating system images. You must run this update only after the operating system is installed and the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) is finished.

KB2533552 seems safe to install according to http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/26762-Update-for-Windows-7-(KB2533552)-Is-it-safe-to-install.  If your question was where it's "name" came from, I guess it came from the "enable future updates" such as shown here?:

But yes, it seems it CANNOT be installed offline.
