Windows Installation - Where I can change the modification date

Just to be sure, you've selected all Catalogs when you've added Updates? cuz if you don't , only on selected Catalog (e.g. Windows 7 ULTIMATE ) will be updated !

That means about 7-8 hours to integrate (depends of your PC specs)

About that date, I don't think it could be modified !

All you can do is to modify Descriptions: "Edit Display Description"

Can I Change the Date modified (11/20/2010) to (05/27/2014) ?????

Keight:

not like that; press CTRL and select all of them :) then click select to be added all of them !

I'll assure you, time will cost you between 6-8 hours ! :)

If you don't do that, the rest of them will be without updates ! just try it to convince your self !

Delete all catalogs up to ULTIMATE if you have no patience to make all of them !

Regarding... 11/20/2010 is part of the source(core time), can't be modified until you have access to open source !

You're talking now about something else.

You mean just when I select them all, then he integrates into any edition individually updates or?

i have seen Windows 7 isos, here are the Date modifizied!

By me the Update integration for 4 Editions (Home, HomePremium, Professional and Ultimate)

is ready in 1,5 h ;-)

How many Updates are you integrated by x64 be found until no more updates on windows updates? With the exception of EXE files

And, how big is your ready ISO?

My ISO for a single CATALOG is 4,27 GB (4.591.585.209 bytes)

3,89 GB (4.177.950.899 bytes) for install.wim (Windows 7 Ultimate)!

How big is your Install.wim after updates ?

300 updates :)

Just for your insurance, click all catalogs , and add updates , you'll see how much time will cost you ! :) The size will be approximately the same as your + few MB but WinToolkit will make for each one in part updates

I have time to explain it to you right now, most of the time I create installers for Video Games with InstallShield !

I know what I'm saying.

He??

I have integrated by x64 164 Updates!

There are very often replaced by one or more KB's.

With 164KB, Windows Update found no updates (other than exe as Defender, Framework Removal tool)

For Example:

KB2929437

Replaces the following updates:

KB2898785 and

KB2909921 and

KB2925418

300 updates are way too many! ;-)

I also have enough idea, as I am programmer and already about 400've created isos;-)

Give me you KB List and i say which updates are replaced ;-)

when you make a new Installation with origianal DVD, there are no 300 updates to downloading ;-)

or this for example:

KB2639308:

This update has been replaced by the following updates:

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2676562)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2724197)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2799494)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2813170)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2859537)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2871997)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2872339)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2882822)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2679255)

This update replaces the following updates:

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2498472)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2534366)

I don't think you can change the modification date.

As to the number of updates, yes Cartman, if you only want to satisfy Windows Update so you get "No updates Required", then the number of 164 seems about right, (I don't know the exact number). But many people also want to install all of the request only updates as well, even if it does take a lot longer to do so. In that case, the number of updates is much, much greater, in fact 300 seems like a low number. :)  © KEiGHT, besides using Win Toolkit, I think you can also use KUC to evaluate whether you have updates that have been superseded.  It can work with both online and offline images.  You'll have to read the documentation to see how it works.

Cheers and Regards

I checked myself each one in part for what those are for ! :) And obviously every user has his needs for his MACHINE :)

I don't install all they recommended because I don't need them mostly ! After a close research , I used only about 225 updates !!

I will check at your suggestion KUC !

Thank you ! ;)
