schitthoch2
Hi alan_foxSeems to be a very nice package. One question though:I used the following switches /ai2 /sfxlang:1031 NOSTARTMENU=0 WEB_ANALYTICS=0After installing the package it displayed a Windows Installer window explaining the usage of parameters like /norestart etc.Is this because I dind't set the /gm2 switch?Do I miss something or did I someting wrong?Or could that message be from the next installer (i doubt it) called through WinToolkit (Silverlight64 silent package from this repack forum)? Put /sfxlang , /gm2 switches before /ai or /ai2 or /ai3 switches In your case, it should be <jre-dual-setup.exe> /sfxlang:1031 /ai2 NOSTARTMENU=0 WEB_ANALYTICS=0 Edited December 3, 2015 by alan_fox

click-click
Can someone tell me how to extract the .msi from the latest v73 installer using the command line?. I know he installer unpacks the msi when you launch it, but I need to get it without running the installer. Previous to v73 the msi used to be stored as jre-8uxx-windows-i586_103_JAVA_INSTALLER.bin. I tried extracting from the new installer and can no longer find the msi. Edited February 6, 2016 by click-click

Just extract the sfx to any folder usng 7zip. Done. You will get whatever files are in the sfx. To get config.txt, use the command line switch: -sfxconfig config.txt. BTW His installer doesnt unpack the msi. He has already unpacked the msi & put it into the sfx.No sfx can 'unpack' an msi/exe. Cheers & Regards alfreire

keloo05
The /ai3 switch is not working anymore. When applied it doesn't delete older versions of JRE (8u101/8u102). I think you have to update uninstall GUID strings.
