RicaNeaga
Can you please explain a little more with what is your installers different than other two great installers (ricktendo's and yumeyao's)? ''directx for managed code'' is for developers only? Thanks
abbodi1406
Nothing different, mine is kind of preinstall the package manually and saves install time laterricktendo's and yumeyao's install the package after installing the system regarding managed code, don't know for sure

niTe_RiDeR_Pr0
In the file name of the "DirectX without 'DirectX for Managed Code'", it is written Windows 8.1 but not in the Full version. Does it mean that the 1st one (Full) won't work in Win8.1? Edited October 27, 2014 by niTe_RiDeR_Pro
abbodi1406
Both addons works for Both Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 but the Full as noted, require enabling .NET 3.5 Framework in Windows 8/8.1, because Managed Code relies on .NET 2.0 (part of 3.5) Tiger-1

PJAmerica
I want to incorporate this with my Win 7 SP1 x64 ISO. Do I need to install both of them? As in x86 & x64 or just x64?
mooms
It seems x64 is enough. PJAmerica

bYHexadecimal
Hello everyone Is abbodi1406 the same as the package published at the address? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/repack-directx-end-user-runtime-june-2010.84785/
mooms
Its the same result.
bphlpt
There are some very, very slight differences. The code at https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/repack-directx-end-user-runtime-june-2010.84785/ is now mostly the same as the installer created by DXCB, which he referenced in his code comments. abbodi1406 added XAudio2_9redist.dll, did a more correct implementation of DirectX for Managed Code which added some missing registry references, and even made the code slightly smaller. I don't think that most people will notice the differences in practice, but YMMV. As @mooms stated, the end result is essentially the same. Cheers and Regards Edited February 12, 2022 by bphlpt abbodi1406 and mooms
bYHexadecimal
Thank you @mooms and @bphlpt for your help. @abbodi1406 are you considering adding XAudio2_9redist.dll to these packages?
