The code at https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/repack-directx-end-user-runtime-june-2010.84785/ is now mostly the same as the installer created by DXCB, which he referenced in his code comments. abbodi1406 added XAudio2_9redist.dll, did a more correct implementation of DirectX for Managed Code which added some missing registry references, and even made the code slightly smaller. I don't think that most people will notice the differences in practice, but YMMV. As @mooms stated, the end result is essentially the same. abbodi1406 Posted February 15 Author Share Posted February 15 Well, the installer is more elegant, yet the addon is good enough as for XAudio2_9redist.dll, you can add it manually to system folders, it does not need any registry keys x86: add x86 file to system32 x64: add x64 file to system32, and x86 file to syswow64 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
